Wooo! I'm really jazzed about this! I had cause to look over the book recently and I didn't realize how much I missed it with the afterglow of Golden Son.
I'm so excited for this! I'm so excited to re-read it. I hope that we'll do a Golden Son group re-read after.
Woohoo! I can't wait! I haven't gotten the chance to read Golden Son yet, buuuut I just got Red Rising again from the library, so that ought to hold me over until Golden Son is available again :)

I'll be a first time reader. I've had this book on my devices for a while, but this is the push I needed to read/listen.
I just finished re-reading both books last week, but I'll follow along and maybe toss out a question or two. Who knows? Maybe I'll get so sucked in to the discussion that I'll do another re-read!
This will be my 3rd re-read of Red Rising. I am SO looking forward to the group read.

This is a great reason to start my re-read so I'll be done before the final book comes out. However, I don't understand the schedule. When I read it the first time, my reading schedule was 1. Open book and start reading. 2. Stagger out of the book on the last page the next day without sleep. Who knew you could actually space out the reading over a period of weeks?
I think I was re-reading Red Rising last year somewhere around November as well to get ready for Golden Son. Maybe I will make it my yearly tradition? Looking forward to see other readers thoughts.
Not many of my friends have read the book (shame on them I know) so I'm excited to talk about it with others! I read it differently each time :)

I've had such a difficult time convincing my friends to read this! Some know me and my taste for books so well that I just have to say"you NEED to read this!" and they know it'll be good. Others need more convincing. But I'm awful at giving to much away. I hate spoilers. So excited to re read Red Rising!

I'm happy to re-read over a period of time. I'm not a speed reader. I like to take my time so I can appreciate what I'm reading. And I have limited time each day for reading.
I'm actually going to be reading for the first time. I'm looking forward to getting some insights from those of you who have been through it a time or two before.

I just finished Red Rising about last week!! I should have put it off a little more.
Red Rising is one of my favorite books, so I wanted re-read it anyway but I didn't know when...until now.

I'm a first time reader. I won't be able to spread it out over four weeks since I just received my copy from the library, but it sounds like I won't be able to put it down anyway.
I really hope my copy arrives by Monday!! It will be my second read through and I am so excited!Darrow and Sevro are my favorites!! :)
It will be a reread for me. I don't reread too many books, but this one is worth the time. And I'm pretty sure I won't be able to hold back and spread it out over the 4 weeks either.

I am a first time reader too, but it is such a wonderful book I read it in 24 hours and plan to reread the sections for each of the discussion weeks. That way there is no worry about spoilers!

I don't re-read a lot of books because there are so many on my To Read list. This is one of the exceptions. I can read it again and again. I'm excited to do it with the group.
I also got the audio version! I love to listen as I drive around Vegas! Can't wait to get started. First time reader! Not a true sci/ fit reader, but I loved reading Marion Zimmer Bradley and Michael Crichton.
I've read this book a total of 57 times, because for awhile it was the only book I had installed on my kindle and I would read it up to 5 times a week. That was about a year ago, though, so I can't wait to read it again!

This is great, I was planning on re-reading Red Rising then reading Golden Son before Xmas ready for the new book's release. Excited!

Oh my! I accidentally finished the book. Thank you for the group invitation. Without it, I may not have enjoyed this exciting tale until next year.
Ha Ha "accidentally" - reading a good book and stopping at certain sections is kind of like peeing and stopping mid stream. It is hard to do and takes self control. Glad you liked the book so much.
The first time I read this book I read through the first section pretty fast. I just didn't find it interesting at first. But know going back and re-reading I really got to enjoy it and emerge myself into his world. Some of the questions I have would elude to parts not read yet and I don't want to spoil for others. But do not you feel that Eo had already made up her mind before the lashings to rebel?

11/14-11/20: Part IV REAPER
We'll post a new topic for each section.
