Ask Pierce Brown discussion

Do you plan on writing another series after your Red Rising trilogy? Can you give us any hints about the forthcoming movie? (P.S. I love your books! I'm a major fanboy. Thanks for writing and inspiring.)

As much as I love Red Rising, I'd prefer if the series is left as it is (a trilogy). Personally I'm much more curious to see what else Pierce Brown can come up with. :)

I wouldn't mind a prequel about the rise of the golds. Maybe written from a gold's point of view where they see themselves as heroes. I would also enjoy seeing what else Pierce can come up with though. New worlds, new histories, new futures. I've certainly become a fan of his work and anything he puts out I will give a shot.

I absolutely love the character of Mustang/Virginia. It would be very interesting to read about how she turned out to be, in Darrow's opinion, what Golds ought to be instead of, as reflected by her father and twin brother, what Golds are. Would Pierce ever consider writing a book based on Mustang's point of view?

I'd rather it be left as a trilogy. I loved the first three books of the Mortal Instruments series. The next three books were unnecessary. I would hate for the same to happen with this amazing series. Please do not ruin it.

apparently he's working on a couple of tv series and a fantasy book series is up next. good overall interview.
