Was your spouse's career path a mutual decision? Was he/she already on this path before you met?

Kaitlyn Ramos | 6 comments My hubby was already in the army when we met, and while I was supportive of it, I can honestly say I had no clue what I was getting into when I married him.

I think, for those of us who aren't also military brats, that's probably the case for most of us. My hubby was in the military but by the time I met him he was out. No idea he would ever have thought of going back, probably would have run back then if I had known. Glad I didn't :)

Jennifercruz | 3 comments When I met my husband he was an artist so after we graduated college and he decided to apply for the Border Patrol I was supportive however had never even heard of the border patrol, nor the city where we were assigned and would live for a decade. It was mutual in that I supported his career choice however was completely ignorant of the lifestyle or what this would entail. That being said, I think it was better I didn't know because although I am adventurous, I am not sure I would have been as supportive let alone would have joined him in all of the madness. He is worth it; just being truthful.
