I read the first 200 pages then put it down. I'm gonna click your link :). I notice people will read books relative to the holiday. I've never thought of that but since Halloween is coming up I'll pick it up again. Lindsay, your picture is creepy :)'
Yes I've noticed it a lot more since listening to podcasts that there are holiday themed reading and holiday theme episodes, etc.
It seems only right. I'll probably read Doctor sleep next ^.^. Wen I look back on the Shining though, it's so weird that it all happened in a big hotel's hallways and rooms. All vacant. That really is scary. Idk what's in store for Doctor Sleep, but it seemed really trippy with Abra.
A brilliant book! King has such a deft touch. He can convey such emotion - fear, anxiety, horror - in just a few sentences.
