Two points for me about this section: 1. I do not think it a coincidence that there are so many references to Irishness/Independence/Sinn Fein etc in this section – I think this aspect of FW as a deeply political, deeply anti-colonial work cannot be over-emphasised.
2. Of course Jamesy would "end" with an astonishingly beautiful few pages – how on earth is anyone supposed to resist reading the whole darn thing through all over again?
