this is a place for all us whovians to geek it out. chat, talk about up coming doctor shows, or previous. or whatever. i will start it out with my introduction to the doctor.

i wasnt a fan until about 2009, thats when i first got the new series. i was hooked from the start, and loved that there was soooo much to watch. now, 5 years later, i have officially seen it all, old and new, and cannot wait to see what the new doctor will be like.

Okay so, I was a little late coming in it. But better late then never.

No I started with the 9th. But the 11th is my favorite.

have ya gone back in time to the old series? if not do you think you will? id recommend it, its pretty awesome.

I have. the fourth doctor is my favorite from the old series.

yea 4 is pretty awesome. do you have a favourite story of his? mine is the sun makers, hes super sarcastic in it and it always cracks me up. plus i have a total crush on leela

yeah Leela is pretty awesome. I don't know my favorite, but the sun makers is a really good one.

im quite looking forward to this new guy. i love it when theres a new doctor, lol, cant wait to see how it goes.

It took my awhile to get used to 11 actually. But when I did I enjoyed him. I think that's what's going to happen with 12. But I think in the end I will like him very much.

i hope they keep bringing back the old bad guys. not every episode but i love it when they throw in a random old bad guy, like that ice warrior in a submarine episode.

yea me too, it was definitely a highlight of a great season. i hope the show stays going in this direction, amazing stories. ever since moffat took over after 10 left the writing and stories have been so good. i love that things in season 7 are referenced in season 5, the whole run has been one big story.

I still think he and Sherlock should meet up somehow. i would love to see them together.

lol yea that would be quite the team up. alas sherlock is a fictional character, tho i like how apparently doyle based sherlock on that lizard woman, i cant recall her name im afraid. that was pretty funny i thought.

Yes, but what if he wasn't a fictional character. lol

yea that would be a cool idea, sherlock was actually based on a real guy and the doctor knows it, going back to help him take on a case only to find some kind of alien invasion of earth plan. sounds like a winner.

They might have a few disagreements, which will be very entertaining. lol

yea i can just see them now, bickering while his companion, whether still clara or not, has a cup of tea with watson, lol

I just pictured them sitting back watching. And then they both come up with the same idea.

lol absolutely, i can see them trying to out deduce each other at every moment. trying to show the other who is smarter, it would be a great show for sure.

I think the enemy in that one should be someone they both somehow know.

hmm that would be a tough one, im thinking alien hounds of the baskervilles? lol. theres always moriarty, what if moriarty was really the master.

yea i could see that, or perhaps the woman, adler, is actually rani. id like them to bring back rani, a homicidal madwoman timelord, whats not to like.

lol right. Crazy people are always the most fun to watch and write.

just watched an adventure in space and time, so so so so good. loved every second of it, all doctor fans should check out this flick :)

Is it on Netflix?

im not too sure im afraid, i downloaded it. it was a biopic about the first doctor and the creation of doctor who. i hope it is on netflix for ya, if not though i can tell you where i found it as a torrent.

i just got a hold of some doctor awesomeness. one of the main problems i find with the earlier series is the fact that i dont like the reconstructions. in case you dont know, a lot of the first and second doctor's stories were lost and fans remade them with audio and pictures from the show. i personally find them not great, i mean its certainly better then nothing but still, it sucks that so many were lost. well, i have just gotten some animated versions of those lost episodes

yes thats right, the missing episodes of some great great stories have been returned through the greatness of cartoons. so if youre a doctor fan keep an eye out for these things, i will absolutely update when i watch them. i cant wait.

i know right, and some pivotal episodes too, the first regeneration, the first ice warriors, the epic 9 episode long 2nd doctor story the invasion. so so cool, lol.

i wish i could but i got a copy of them, you can find it if you download torrents. if not im sure there must be a way to stream them online, they might even be on youtube. keep in mind its only the recon episodes, so numbers 2 and 4 out of a series of 6 for example. you gotta watch it all :)

yea its such a great idea, though i dont know whether to watch them right away or stick to my diary of the doctor thing and get to them eventually. i dont think ill be able to wait.

I don't like waiting to watch Doctor who. That's what's killing me about this new season. We have to wait for so long.

i know, i loved it when i was new to the doctor. i first watched it while the 5th season was coming out. so watching the series before, then the whoooole series before, there was always a new story around the corner. now though i too am stuck in the waiting room for the doctor, luckily i keep my eyes open for anything doctor related to help curb the withdrawl, lol.

Yeah, it sucks being all caught up. lol. I have doctor who sites that I keep up with for news and stuff.

and now you have me too :) i will absolutely continue to add all the cool doctor watchables i can find here.

have you seen all the specials released with the 50th anniversary? lots of shows and stuff, my favourite was the 5 ish doctors. that was so funny.

No! I didn't. I'll have to look it up. I do tend to not hear about those things. lol

check that one out, you wont be disappointed. also theres a show called the doctor revisited, each episode is a special about a particular version of the doctor. thats more a documentary type deal though.

I'll watch pretty much anything that has to do with the Doctor. I'll have to look that up too.
