I know I only have to read 1 book, but you know me and I want to read the complete series. So I have read the uglies series nominated by Lu and the hunger games series nominated by Liezel.

I can relate, luckily there are a few options where I have read some if the series already!

Overachiever! How is your mum doing?

I was waiting to reply to your email, because she had another doctor's appointment yesterday and I wanted to give you the latest news.

We were all very optimistic because she was starting to see colour which the doctor's had said would be impossible. We also had the feeling that the infection was getting less and the eye clearer. The doctor confirmed that she was doing well and her medication was again lowered. However there is now another complication and that is that her retina is detaching itself from the rest of the eye and this has to be fixed or all progress is lost again. So she has to go in for surgery on Monday.

It seems like we just cannot catch a break.

Oh, no! That is not great. The detached retina thing is annoying. It happened to my hairdresser's husband. The surgery is OK, but thereafter they cannot do some things for quite a long time like picking up heavy objects. We are thinking of you and your family!

And by the way, I know you are planning on reading The Silver Pigs from my list. That series is 20 books for your overachiever ambitions!

Thanks! Well she can't lift heavy objects now, so that won't be a problem. :) It is just another thing going wrong and it is very terryfying for my mum. She just thinks of all the things that can go wrong and she has lots of nightmares. She has gotten some sleepmedication but they aren't really helping.

I know. But I have already read at least one book in the series and they can be read as stand alone books and out of order whereas the Hunger Games and Uglies you sorta have to read in one go. So I hope i can withstand the temptation to read the whole series. :)
