Personality: Veronica is a very quiet individual, and she's quite intelligent. She got into Law at Noctem Aeternam University without even trying too hard. She is friendly to those who approach her, but she’s quite an introvert. During group assignments she usually is very shy to speak up, however, she usually gets the best mark in the class. She has a very complex personality, and sometimes she’s a bit hard to work out, but the few friends she has love her, and think she’s a lovely person.

History: Veronica’s mother put her up for adoption when she was just a baby. For years Veronica lived with her adopted family, who weren't very nice people. Her father was a drug addict, and her mother was an alcoholic, and they would both come home late every single night and fight with one another. Veronica’s only escape was through reading, and would read books all day long. She would often wonder why her adopted parents would always neglect her, seeing that she knew she was adopted. Because of her terrible home life, she was excited to start university, because all she wanted was to leave home and live a detached life from her adopted parents. Veronica’s life so far has been centred around going to university, and because of this she had suffered from depression. She often wonders what else she has in her life. She hates her parents and wants to stay as far away from them as possible, although went she does, she feels so alone.

Personality: Taito isnt your average boy. He's more quiet and distant, mean to get people to leave him alone yet calm towards his enemies. He has the personality of "Im going to do it whether its stupid or not" And "I could care less what that b*tch is thinking of me" so in other words he doesnt care what others think, even if it hurts him in the end, he doesnt act like it, but you could tell in his eyes when you've hurt him or not. He doesnt just snap at anyone though, he only does if he has had a rough day and people are annoying him. He never loses a fight either, whether he starts it or ends it. Once you get to know him though he's kind, sweet and really smart, mainly when it comes to herb collecting and medicine making and in all, he loves protecting people and saving peoples lives.

History: Taito's dying. He was born with a heart disease. Its not contagious, but its slowly eating away his heart and inside to where in the real world, he can barely move without limping slightly. He found out he had it when he was 4 and they didnt give him 6 months to live, but he has been living because he refuses to go down until he's seen the best of life. He knows theres something more out there.. So, in the university he studies medicine in hopes of healing himself so he could live a happy life. His mother died the day he was born, living long enough to name him and thats it. His father was always drunk and abusive, living long enough to drive his older brother away and he hasnt seen him since. He may be ill but he doesnt count on anyone helping him so he still takes care of himself. The illness already made him lose sight in his right eye so he keeps it bandaged up but in dream world he just hangs his bangs over it.

Personality: She's a daydreamer. She sleeps alot because she thinks she can escape reality when she sleeps. She sleeps too much for a human, and she'd say it was insomnia because she never sleeps when her parents are fighting, but yet she doesn't have a hard time sleeping. She's a little timid, afraid to hurt others the way her parents hurt her. But if someone annoys her enough, she'll snap (get a flash of herself in her mother's position) and then shrink back and run away. But she's actually quite kind and she helps (secretly) when she can.

History: Akemi was named for being bright and beautiful. Ake (明) meaning bright and mi(美) meaning beautiful (actually it's the same in chinese - the meanings I mean!) but she thinks she should have been called Akane (茜) which can mean a deep red colour, or it could mean an Angry child depending on how it is written. Sometimes, Akemi gets really angry, but she never expresses it because at home, no one is ever allowed to say what's on their mind. If they do, and they break the silence, the rents start yelling.

Akemi is the youngest child. After her siblings grew up and moved out (all in their own situations, the oldest in a screaming match with their father, the second-oldest just left unable to take the yelling that happened between their parents, and the manipulation that's going on, and the third oldest, Akemi's favouite sibling, left after he was yelled at to get out even though he'd done nothing wrong). Akemi had always been protected by her brothers, and when the last brother left, with deep apologies to Akemi, Akemi was left alone (although he did come home every so often to check on her, and every time he does, she pretends to be happy), and she can't leave home yet because she doesn't have any money, and she is worried about her parents, and she doesn't want to burdern her brothers (especially since they're now all living with their girlfriends). Akemi is a little timid, she doesn't want to hurt the people she loves. While her parents argue and argue (for so many years Akemi can't even remember when their family had ever been happy, although according to her oldest brother, they had all been very happy once) about the little things, and then refuse to divorce each other because they need each other (for political purposes), hence driving the rest of their children mad. Akemi chose to do criminology because she couldn't stand the idea of psychology, and assessing how messed up her family was. She figured, why not study crime? Her grades are good - it's like the only good thing about her (so she thinks), and they're good, because she's sharp and hates the nuisance of doing her work again, so she does it perfect the first time.

Her third oldest sibling (her favourite and closest in age) gave her the Kawasaki when she turned 19. He'd been teaching her to ride secretly since he got his first bike at 16 (at the time Akemi was 10) and took her out days ata time when their parents were away and his girlfriend was busy (sometimes even with his girlfriend). They'd go to the country and ride along dirt roads, where Akemi leant basically. She officially got her probabtionary motorcycle license at 18 and is currently on the P1 plates. Up until this year, Akemi had been riding one of her brother's older bikes. Even though, neither of her older, older brothers approve.

Likes: sleeping, being alone, no yelling, life away from her parents, and helping others if it makes them smile (though she's not someone who does good things all the time), and her brothers.

Dislikes: being stared at (when she notices), yelling, getting terrible marks, being around her parents.


Strengths: her grades, her sleeping ability and the way she acts (keeps everyone away) is her solid shield.

Weaknesses: her timidness.

His parents died because they drank to much from sadness. He was then adopted by a painter. He had found a passion for painting. It was all he could do. After years past, he had learned to talk and became a painter.

Alice's hair is commented on as brown, but this is not her
natural hair pigmentation, far from it actually, originally
she was recognised as ash white, but then again that was many years ago.
Her hair tends to usually be down and reasonably straight,
it reaches just below her breasts. Normally she hides
her hair with a beanie of some sort, she hates scalps. She really only
pulls her hair up when she is working on canvas, so she
doesn't get any paint on her but that still happens anyway.
Her skin is rather pale, a gift from her mother's genetic codes
but that's not the most eye-catching thing about her flesh
far from it, it's her slender arms which are simply
covered in tattoos, most have some sort of meaning
behind them, but she's unlikely to tell anyone what
they actually are. Her face is what catches many eyes,
she's been told she possesses a somewhat 'feral' featured face,
full of sharp and complimenting angles.

Alice wears whatever is comfortable, and in her case,
it seems oversized shirts, shirts, ripped tights and combat boots
are her thing, she likes her band merch and ex-lovers shirts
those tend to be her favourites, along with her trade-mark
beanies.

Alice is the younger of her and her brother, so she remembers
very little of her parents relationship, but despite this she
still has vague memories of hearing screaming and things smashing,
her parents had a very volatile relationship so it ended in
the worst way possible when Alice was only five years old, when
her mother killed her father. It was an accident as it was an act
of self defence, but it didn't particularly matter in the courts,
her mother was a reoccurring drug addict who simply wasn't fit to
take care of two young children, so charged with man slaughter,
the siblings were placed into the care of their uncle, who was
equally as irresponsible as their mother, but there was a
less likely chance of them being put in as much danger. She
grew up quick, and hung around with kids almost twice her age and
developed her love for piercings and tattoos at the tender age
of fourteen, getting her first ink in the back room of her
cousins flat.

History: He was never happy, his parents left him an his three siblings when he was a baby. His older brother Christoph took care of them and so he grew up always feeling kind of empty. He turned to drugs to numb his mind and was accidentally given the wrong prescription, putting himself in a coma.

Likes: Painting, clowns, carnivals and circuses.

Dislikes: Being away from his family and girlfriend, the fact that deep down he wants to stay in Kriptasia.
