We used to have this thread a super long time ago (like ... a few years ago) but then it got archived and never started up again. So I decided to re-start it because I love a lot of album artwork and I thought it was a cool thread to have around. And I mean, it's art and art inspires writing. So it's relevant. Really.

So yeah, post album artwork that you like here!

I'll just start off with a few album covers that I really like:

Anyway, here are a few I like:

Ooh, those are cool Megan. :D I've seen the Fray cover before and that's one I've always liked––I hadn't seen the other two before, though.

that is the coolest cover i have ever seen.

Two that I love which are kind of similar to each other ... the first one is for Together We Shine by The New Division, the second one is Mind Over Matter by Young the Giant. (Also they're both fantastic albums!)

I'd never even heard of either of those before, but the covers are intriguing enough for me to want to look them up.

I love all the Simone White album covers, but this one's my favourite. Apparently the woman on the front is/was her mother, and the leopard was her family pet.







am for the sake of brevity only posting one Wannadies album cover, but they're all pretty good ones so look them up. The cover of Be A Girl is vaguely of note because the girl on the front looks exactly like my younger sister? but it isn't?? which is quite cool to me but probably not for other people so whatever

Here's one I came across lately that I really like (also, it's a great album).

Blue Note Records was operating on a completely different level back in the day. Reid Miles designed most of their covers, and man. Here's four of the more iconic ones, but literally any of the hundreds of covers are guaranteed to look fantastic.
