Shimmerkit looked around the nursery and started exploring. She ran and squealed looking for other kits to play with and wondered if Heatherpelt would tell her a story.

Don't forget to give any kits you adopt a mother!

Ok I just made a new cat to be her mom

Shimmerkit went over to her mother Dawnmist. "Mom i want milk"! Dawnmist looked over at Shimmerkitt " Shimmerkit i am almost out of milk it is time you try eating real prey like mouse and rabbit". Shimmerkit pouted " I only want milk the prey look gross, only milk will do"!

Skypool hopped over. "Come on, Shimmerkit. Eating prey is what big kits do. You're old enough to eat voles and grouse." She said, trying to sound as caring as possible.

Shimmerkit shook her head. "No, milk is better the voles are all covered in blood and crowfood". Shimmerkit pouted. Dawnmist shook her head, "if you want to be a good apprentice or warrior you have to catch and eat prey".

Shimmerkit shook her head. " I wanna be a medicine cat not catch smelly prey"!
Dawnmist sighed. "'We have 3 medicine cats I don't think we need anymore".

Skypool sighed. She did not know how to make this stubborn kit listen. "Oh, she'll eat when she's ready." She hoped. In all her years as a queen, she had never encountered a kit who had this problem. Then, an idea flashed before her eyes. "Shimmerkit! If you want to be a medicine cat, come with me to the medicine den! We can tell Marshstream, and then we can better prepare you!" She knew her plan was working.

Shimmerkit's eyes shined. " Yes, please mother can i come with Skypool. Dawnmist smiled gratefully. " Thanks Skypool take her to the medicine cat den".

She walked over to the medicine den with Shimmerkit. "Hello, Violetfrost?" She spoke very quietly. "Is there anything you can do to help Shimmerkit? He won't eat fresh-kill."

(she)"Hey, I wanna be a medicine cat one day"! Shimmerkit replied her eyes sparkling.

Hazel and Tindle were still in the nursery. They gazed around bored and hungry. "Tindle, why'd they have to take us here?" Hazel asked showing some anger since it was only her sister. "I don't know, but I don't want to stay, it's too crowded plus some of them were mean." Tindle sat down and pouted not wanting to stay in the nursery.

Cherrykit skipped around the nursery excitedly. " Oh yes Shimmerkit I finally got even with my annoying sister!"

Hazel and Tindle were pressed against each other in a corner as they watch the strange kit skip around happily. They then saw a tom come in with angry clear in his face.

"Cherrykit you're going to pay for what you did to Shimmerkit." Skykit growled though it came out like a harsh squeak.

She looked at him amused " Oh so why should I be afraid of you?" Cherrykit asked amused.

Skykit launched himself at Cherrykit with claws unsheathed.

Cherrykit struggled underneath him " Aww does someone have a crush on my sister?"

"Shut up you tried to kill her!" He bit down on her shoulder and didn't let go.

Hazel and Tindle watched wide eyes as the kits fought each other.

Cherrykit hissed in pain " Stop! That hurts!" She replied then screamed for help.

"I don't care." Skykit mumbled around her shoulder. He tried to dig his claws dig deeper but they were as far as they could extend and that wasn't too far.

Hazel was still frozen in fear. She didn't want to be the next one the tom attack. Tindle watched and crept forward slightly interested though she too had her claws unsheathed.

She screamed louder and sobbed. Briardawn ran into the nursery hearing the screams " Oh, Skykit what are you doing!"

Frostthorn also came in after Briardawn she grabbed Skykit by the scruff and ripped him off of Cherrykit. She set him down roughly and scowled. "What in the name of StarClan do you think you were doing?" She yelled at him lowly. "I promised." He responded glaring at Cherrykit.

" What do you mean promise?" Briardawn questioned looking between him and Cherrykit.

"It's none of your business." Skykit squeaked and glared at Briardawn. Which earned him a whack on the head from his mother b

" You can't go attacking clanmates!" She scolded.

"Briardawn I'll deal with my own kits why don't you deal with yours." Frostthorn suggested icily. She knew what Cherrykit had done to Shimmerkit and whether that was by accident or on purpose it didn't matter because she shouldn't have done it at all.

Briardawn nodded and went out.

Frostthorn gave Skykit a icy look, but spoke with calmness that made Skykit uneasy. "Why did you hurt Cherrykit?"

"She hurt Shimmerkit first and I promised her I would." He squeaked indignantly.

"So because you made a promise it's ok to do?"

Skykit looked down at his paws and refused to look up at her. Just yell at me, he thought angry at himself more than he was at Frostthorn. "I'm sorry."

"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to."

Cherrykit glared at him waiting for an apology.

Skykit glared right back at her and refused to say a word. Frostthorn saw their standoff and scowled. "Cherrykit stop glaring at him. Skykit apologize now." She scolded finally getting agitated more at Cherrykit and Briardawn then at Skykit though.

Cherrykit stopped glaring and sighed.

"Sorry." Skykit meowed soundingly like his old nervous self, but still it was obvious he didn't mean it. He continued in his thoughts, I'm sorry you're such a heartless beast that would try and kill her own sister. I'm sorry that you're the only thing that's worse than a badger and I sorry that you were ever born. he gave a small smile after he finished his last thought.

Cherrykit narrowed her eyes and nodded then huffed and walked to the corner of the nursery.

Tindle and Hazel moved away from Cherrykit as she came to the corner they were in. "Why'd he attack you?" Tindle asked her curiously.

She rolled her eyes " I fed my stupid sister deathberries!" Cherrykit said.

Tindle snorted. "No wonder he attacked you, I would too if I got the chance." Hazel was still pressed her sisters flank, feeling more cautious of the kit in front of her.

Cherrykit snorted " Skykit is so pathetic!" " He's fawning over my sister Shimmerkit who will break his heart to pieces!" She rolled her eyes " She's got everyone wrapped around her little tail they just all adore her, don't they!?"

"Well how would we know, I don't even know who you are." Tindle squeaked back. "Honestly though if your going to try and kill your sister, don't do it so publicly." She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Amateur." She muttered remembering what she had heard from another cat once.

She glared at them " Who are you anyways?" " Your not part of the clan!"

"Well guess we are now cause your clan is who brought us here, and who are you?" Tindle asked ignoring her first question.

" Cherrykit, anyways you guys are like totaly strangers why should we waste our food and shelter on you!" She said rudely.

"Well you tried to kill your sister. So why should they their food and shelter on you?" Tindle challenged.

She huffed " My mommy's a warrior here so as long as she's alive I stay here!"

Tindle snorted and rolled her eyes at Cherrykit. Hazel was trembling beside Hazel, she was trying to keep tears back. Tindle turned and rubbed against her softly. "Hey it's ok we'll find her again." She whispered softly. Hazel nodded slowly.

Brightkit and Frozenkit loped over to Tindle and Hazel. "What's wrong?" Brightkit asked quietly.

Hazel gazed wide eyes at the other two kits and began trembling again. "Leave her alone." Tindle squeaked and shielded her sister from them.

The bushy-tailed kit peered over the smaller Tindle's head. "Why are you guys so scared?" She asked.

"Well maybe it's cause we were brought to a strange place by strange cats against our will." Tindle meowed coldly. She didn't like this place at all and it kind of creepy.
