This is magazine project 2. You can choose which magazine project you want to do.
Setting the Scene:
Your local magazine company needs to hire a team of creative and responsible writers for their "People" section. This section focuses on historical figures such as Robert Frost.
The Project:
Each person will compete for this honor by creating a series for the upcoming issue. Titled "Figures to Remember", this issue's focus is on major historical figures in our world. In order to complete this project, each person must complete research. Each person will read at least one existing article on a historical figure and write their own original article by answering a specific question for each article.
Rule/Requirements
-Each person/group member will choose one article-from one of the collections (collection names are below).
*Poets *Musicians *Athletes
-Each article has THREE questions. Pick ONE of the questions to answer using a creative way to answer. You will find the articles in this folder.
-Write ONE article between 90 to 150 words in length. Length is important, as this is not an essay.
-Each day, you should set yourself a goal. Expect surprises throughout this project. Participate and remember this is a competition. The best articles win.
-You do not have to worry about how you lay out your article. There are three sections of this issue, represented by the three collections of articles. Each person will have a topic under this folder for their article and to submit them in.
-All articles will be your own words but using the information you read to help you with your own article.
