Magic is really starting to come into play within these chapters. Emilia reveals to Cleo that there is an exiled Watcher who has the means to save her life. Lucia reveals to her brother that she has magical abilities. Not only that, but Cleo's father reveals to Theon that he was once in love with a witch!

1. In retrospect, what do you make of King Corvin's revelation to Theon, especially with regard to his reaction to Cleo wanting to search for "magic beans"?

2. King Gaius reveals that he knows the deepest, darkest secret Magnus has. What do you think he will do with this knowledge?
