I AM SO EXCITED!! SO READY FOR THISI love historical romances!
Reading the description omg not what I was expecting at all!
sooo intriguing though can't wait to read it next year! April is so far away :(
Well, actually I just realised they might not be faeries.
But was just guessing since it has names like 'Tamsin' and they talk about 'courts' and 'Thorn'
but yeah now I read it I realise it never said that anywhere. I SHALL CHANGE IT! I am sorry for the confusion.

I KNOW!!! And I thin kit's just a historical fantasy. :)
Sorry, I don't think there's faeries! I think I was too presumptuous.

SAME!!!!! It kinda reminds me of another book I read called Masquerade by Kylie Fornasier. It's awesome, only set in the 1700s not a fantasy time.
OK kind of glad to know there's no fairies in this book. She's already done that in her Dark Swan series I think. I'm excited to read something new and original from her!! Renee I'm gonna have to check out that book :D. It sounds really good.
she's going to be pretty busy writing this series so any chance she starts writing about vampire academy again will be years away! :(
yeah it will. But I don't mind. If she needs to refresh her ideas, then I'd say it's best she continues other projects...LIKE THIS ONE!!! ^_^
I think we could tell from the later bloodlines books that she needed a break from that world.

Definitely :D. I also hope it will give her a chance to finally finish and release the Eye of Andromeda!!! I really want that book!!!!!
Yes I hope so too :D. I saw on Richelle's blog that she said no she hasn't forgotten about Age of X book 3, that it is still in the works and she has to answer to a larger publishing schedule that dictates when and what she writes, and she said there's probably going to be a book 4!!!! I just hope we don't have to wait too long. I mean The Immortal Crown just killed me how it ended!!
Anyone have a clue what The Red Storm or City of Demons by Richelle Mead could possibly be about? I saw the titles here on Good Reads and was curious.
If you guys check Richelle Mead's Live Journal she has a what Glittering Court Jewl are you quiz and an excerpt of the Glittering Court!!!
I Saw Copies of This Book on The Shelf at The Bookstore :0
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! JUST DAYS LEFT TILL IT COMES OUT!!!! :D *flails and jumps screaming* So glad I pre-ordered it :) CAN'T WAIT!
I have read it... it was really really good. A bit slow to start but once it got going HOLY SHIT WTF IS HAPPENING - plot is just like a friggin labyrinth of twists and turns.UGH SO GOOD! Richelle, you've done it again
I haven't finished reading it yet (kind of almost done) and IT'S SO FREAKING GOOD!!! The tension build up is AGNVJRKFGNBJLFB (can't think of a good word to describe it). LOVE IT!!!!!
This is really me just being a coward, but because I read VA as the books were being released, I struggled so much not knowing what happened to Dimitri (I think Blood Promise was due to be released six months after I'd finished the predecessor) that I didn't really know what to do. I kept reading the three I had hoping something would change and I was literally an indescribable mess. Now when it comes to new series, I shan't pick up book one unless every single book is out.
Is that weird?
Does anyone else do that?

A dazzling new fantasy series set in a mix of Elizabethan and frontier worlds that’s dripping with romance from Richelle Mead, #1 internationally bestselling author of Vampire Academy.
Big and sweeping, spanning the refined palaces of Osfrid to the gold dust and untamed forests of Adoria, The Glittering Court tells the story of Adelaide, an Osfridian countess who poses as her servant to escape an arranged marriage and start a new life in Adoria, the New World. But to do that, she must join the Glittering Court.
Both a school and a business venture, the Glittering Court is designed to transform impoverished girls into upper-class ladies capable of arranging powerful and wealthy marriages in the New World. Adelaide naturally excels in her training and even makes a few friends: the fiery former laundress Tamsin and the beautiful Sirminican refugee Mira. She manages to keep her true identity hidden from all but one: the intriguing Cedric Thorn, son of the wealthy proprietor of the Glittering Court.
When Adelaide discovers that Cedric is hiding a dangerous secret of his own, together, they hatch a scheme to make the best of Adelaide’s deception. Complications soon arise—first, as they cross the treacherous seas from Osfrid to Adoria, and later, when Adelaide catches the attention of a powerful governor.
But no complication will prove quite as daunting as the potent attraction simmering between Adelaide and Cedric. An attraction that, if acted on, would scandalize the Glittering Court and make them both outcasts in wild, vastly uncharted lands. . . .
THIS SOUNDS SO AWESOME!!! I LOVE FANTASY BOOKS!!!
WHO ELSE IS EXCITED?????
