“The Death Cure”, the third installment in the exhilarating “Maze Runner” series, is no different than any of the others. Tense, thrilling and suspenseful, “The Death Cure” is action packed and entails a very intriguing plot keeping you wondering who your ally is really. If you fancied the previous installments this one should be no different, keeping you craving more insight on what’s going on.

“The Death Cure” leads off exactly where “The Scorch Trials left off, no details are left off. As we know Thomas was in put into a chamber of solitude by the organization W.I.C.K.E.D that monitors and controls his groups every move with no human interaction for many days. Thomas then is enlightened to the fact that he is immune to the virus the Flare ravaging throughout the world. Thomas then is reunited with all the main characters we know and love. They eventually turn against W.I.C.K.E.D due their sneaky and devious actions in the past. Thomas and his group jet away in a sort of spaceship commencing the plot of the book within the city of Denver. Thomas and his group face all of the daunting people and challenges within Denver the supposed virus free city. And the never ending illusion of W.I.C.K.E.D persists on.

“The Death Cure” being the 3rd book within the 4 book series, provides us with more marvelous details that help us further comprehend the big picture. In the series all of the plots encompass the same affair of escaping numerous tests from W.I.C.K.E.D. Within “The Death Cure” we start to really fathom what W.I.C.K.E.D’s true and demented intentions are. “The Death Cure’s” plot is very similar to the other books plots but is still very electric. Dashner has created a very intriguing plot, that leaves you in the dark many a times, leaving you wondering what’s actually going on behind the scenes. The book is indubitably aimed at a teenage audience but could beyond any doubt be entertaining for any age. Due to Dashers brilliant ability to keep you itching for more insight on what’s going on, truly. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in action filled, tense and suspenseful books. It will keep anyone entertained while reading.

The story seems to be a very good book that I would like to read one day. Books that keep the reader thinking is great for the mind and keeps readers on their toes. Stories like the "lottery" that tells you what is going to happen before it happens makes me want to stop reading because it gives away what happens.
