SFF Readalongs led by Kitty G discussion

I have decided to divide this just into the 4 books within this time, and see if that means we get more discussion going so if you're going to use a huge spoiler then please use the 'spoiler tags' from the 'some html is ok' section (just copy and paste and replace the ... with your spoiler).

Pushing on through the book now :D I love a lot of the characters in this but although things are happening, they happen slowly in this book - definitely seeing what everyone meant about this! Did really like the ending of this section!!

I only finished the first chap in Book 2 - man the ending is so sad!!! Poor Harllo :(

While I do like the characters in the book - mainly because we are seeing a lot of old names - there seems to be a lot of indulgent internal musings going on. Sigh...

Indulgent is definitely true :( But Harllo :'( Such a lonely and sad character!

I've FINALLY finished Book 2. Wow this had been really slow progress for me.

The whole plotline on kelyk and the Dying God is really confusing me. Even after Aranatha's declaration, I am still not sure who the Dying God is. And how did the child even become a god??

On the other hand, the meeting of Karsa and the Traveller was pretty cool.
