I got my copy from the library, and can't wait to read it!!

I'm 8th in line for the ebook from my library, so it might be a while before I get to it. But as soon as I do, I'll post my thoughts! I was one of the few people who wasn't a huge fan of Grisha (I only read the first book), so I'm hoping I'll enjoy the spinoff series more :)

I had a hard time with Grisha too. I barely finished book 2 but never started book 3. I'm not sure if I'm going to try this one. I just can't seem to do fantasy right now. I'll see how everyone likes it and see if my book triplets recommend it for me. ;)

I thought the last book was definitely the best book of the Grisha trilogy. I thought each book got better and better myself :)

I've heard mixed things on Six of Crows. I'm hoping I like it!

I want to read this one although I don't know if I'll be able to get to it this month! I only read the first two Grisha books and thought they were all right, and I never got around to reading the third one ... but this book does look really interesting, and I've seen a bunch of reviewers who didn't like the Grisha books say they liked this book. So I'm willing to give it a shot at some point! :D

I have a hold on this in my libraries Overdrive but am not sure when I will get it. I have reservations because everyone seems to love it and normally those are the books I am disappointed in but I will go in with an open mind :)

I did see the black edges and went gaga over it!! I've never seen that before. Gold,yes. But never black! Gorgeous!!!

Yes! I can't wait to see what's going on. I heard nothings but great reviews. I am going in with an open mind and excitement. I'm anxious about next year's book. Will it have the same black sides or will it come in a different color?!

I LOVED the Grisha trilogy. But this one is going a little slow for me.

I have this n my to read list on my library account but I am behind reading group reads. Not sure how I got behind but as soon as I catch up I will read this and post. It might be December though, LOL.

It is always funner to talk about it with other people then read and post and everyone else has moved on.

I'm about a quarter of the way through this one, and I am LOVING it so far! I like it much better than the Grisha trilogy! The world building in this one is much better, and the characters are so strange and awesome. It actually is reminding me a bit of Throne of Glass right now. Let's hope it continues to impress me!

Oh good! I'm seriously waiting for like eight books from the digital library and now I'm thinking I'm going to get them all at the same time. Hope that doesn't happen since my reading time is so limited now :)

I LOVED this one, this is one of my favorite fantasies I've read this year!

David, I hate it when that happens! All the books you want to read come in at once! LOL!

Definitely great!! I'm about 60% through with it and I'm loving all the characters.. I still gotta figure out Jesper and Waylan.

Just finished this one. I loved it. The only thing I regret is that I waited so long to start it. Looking forward to the next installment. :)

I have this book on my Xmas list. If I don't get it, it's the first one I'm buying with the gift cards I've already received from my friends tonight! ;)

Yep. It will be worth it. I rented it from the library and now I really want to buy so I can own the series and re-read it whenever I want:)

Read it and loved it!

The beginning was really slow for me, but once I got to the part where they were actually at the Ice Court it started getting better. And that ending killed me! Gah!

I'm finally reading this! I love the multiple points of view and getting to know all the characters, which are all so flawed and interesting. I'm at 25% and really looking forward to seeing where it goes!

The characters were the best part of the read for me :) And then the last 100 pages or so!

I'm going to try to pick this one up next! :)

FINALLY started this tonight! Why did I wait so long?? I'm on Chapter 5 and already completely obsessed! Kaz and Inej are intriguing MCs!

I'm at 60% and I think I'm enjoying the back stories of all of them the most. All are so heartbreaking. Kaz and his brother was so sad.

Yes Kaz and his brother broke my heart. No wonder Kaz became so hard on people but mostly himself.

Yes, I LOVED Kaz, and felt so bad for him. Actually, all of them I feel bad for. A true band of misfits. Once you get into the heist and all the action, this book REALLY came to life for me! There's some awesome scenes towards the end!

I just LOVED the characters in this one, I think it really set this fantasy apart from a lot of other newer fantasies I've read lately.

I must be the only one who could not get into this book from the beginning. I waited so long for the digital copy to be ready at library and ...there are so many characters with weird names and I can't get into any one of them. I am wondering what it is about. I may have to try it again another time. If a book doesn't capture me right away I don't stick with it. And I do read a lot. So I will move on for now.
