The main character Abby has now gone through the hourglass door and there’s no turning back leaving everyone behind and risking everything most important her past and future. Her best friends Valerie who has literally lost her mind and Jason still the same planning his amazing future getting into the right collage and Dante the love of her life. All this is happening because of Zo and his friends Tony and V getting revenge and take control of time its self also getting to Abby’s life and ruining every memory of her life piece by piece. Her past and her future are both at stake.

While Dante is stuck between both worlds past and future a worried Abby is left behind with the only thought he may be lost forever or didn’t get through the door now it’s up to Abby to build the door and bring Dante home. Behind the doors of the hourglass everything is falling apart, V and Tony are waiting for Zo to eventually get there and get them out and Dante being the master of time has no choice but to stop them. Back home Abby’s life isn’t going so well either Zo is making her life upside down starting with her family having no memory of her and her friends forgetting who she is but gets help for an ally. While going through a lot and facing many paths the door has now opened but one big risk she takes is going through the door and unravel everything she has known or what she thought she knew everything is now up to her and fix her life.

Lisa Mangum did a good job on putting everything together she gives you many details on what is going on and has a lot of expression to her book. The Golden Spiral is the second book of a trilogy I would recommend these books if you like action, fiction and some romance. This book can get a little confusing at times but does catch the reader about teenagers having a normal life then turns upside down.

Jessica | 3 comments This book sounds really interesting. It gives out like that mystery of what will happen to them. At the same time it seems like a sad story because her parents and friends forgot about her. After reading this, it makes me wonder what is going to happen and how the end will be.

Hazel | 3 comments The book sounds interesting and im a big fan of action. I can relate to how your life can be going normal & then it seems like everything starts to go wrong. I wouldn't read it though, because it seems like it has too much going on.
