Love Renee Raudman. She did the Edge books (Ilona Andrews) too and I adored them. She did one of Lisa Kleypas's Texas books, I think, and the did my Dogs and Goddesses (with Jenny Crusie). She has a great, quirky sort of voice.
Loved her in Julia London's Over the Edge series and Marina Adair's St. Helena Vineyard. I'm sorry I don't seem to remember what makes her voice distinct - I just know she enhances books she narrates and one of my go to narrators.
Love her in Ilona Andrews' series but I first listened to her narrating Sandra Brown's and Catherine Coulter's books.
OMG, LOVE her in Kate Daniels. She also did other Ilona Andrews series: The Inn Keeper Chronicles, The Edge series, Hidden Legacy. I forgot she did Blue-Eyed Devil, I actually think that was the first book that I listened to that she had narrated. Excellent narrator. I'm pretty much guaranteed to listen to the book if I see she's narrated it!

Magic Shifts came in for me from the library - Renee is blowing me away with this narration, it is so far better than any of the others in the series that i've listened to
I love this narrator's work in Ilona Andreews' books, both the Kate Daniels series and the Hidden Legacy series. Her voice for Bug in that series just cracks me up. And she makes Rogan really gravelly and sexy. Not crazy about her Derek in the Kate Daniels series because she makes him sound so much older than he should be. But I have come to really associate her voice with that series and I own them all in audio. But I have to admit she is absolutely terrible at accents. There is one Nora Roberts book I had to return because her interpretation of what was supposed to be a working class British accent was so bad I got second hand embarrassment listening to it. It made the listening experience really horrible. And then there was another book where the character was supposed to be Australian but the accent was some weird amalgm of Irish and French?
So yeah, she is awesome doing bad asses, but really shouldn't attempt any non-American accents.
I'll have to try that one. I read the book ages ago, when it first came out, but haven't tried it on audio.

I absolutely love that book. I didn't listen to it but it I always go back to it. I might have to give the audio a try.
