Vanessa Couchman | 23 comments I have written a blog about life in SW France since 2010. It's called Life on La Lune, after the locality in which we live. There's always something new to discover here in France.

Vanessa Couchman | 23 comments I also like blogs by:

Writer Deborah Lawrenson (The Lantern, The Sea Garden), who has a place in Provence:
http://deborah-lawrenson.blogspot.fr/

And American writing friend Evelyn Jackson who lives nearby in SW France and writes about her life here:
http://www.melangedmagic.com/

There are oodles more blogs about France but those two are consistently my favourites.

Very affordable prices for authors. Go have a look. You'll find all the details on the Author Application Tab. Mari Mann (marimann) Thank you, Linda, for the invitation and for giving new life to this group. My blog began as a "love note" to my favorite author, Marcel Proust Marcel Proust, and expanded to include my first novel, in which Marcel is the main character. Emma (wordsandpeace) on my book blog, Words And Peace, I review a lot of books related to France. I also organize a French reading Challenge every year (books you can read in English or French). This year, it's in the shape of a Bingo, and its not too late to join. You can also see the entries just to give you an idea what to read next!: http://wordsandpeace.com/2014/12/01/f...

Hi Linda, I lived for several years in France with my young family, returning to Australia 3 years ago. Whilst there, I wrote purely for my own pleasure (and because I was a bit timid to put myself out there!). I now love to search out new blogs (e.g. I have landed here through Jacqueline's French Village Diaries), and have one of my own called, But you are in France, Madame ! http://butyouareinfrancemadame.blogsp... I would love to invite more people over to it. Thank-you

Laurette Long | 76 comments Bonjour les francophiles
I’ve been enjoying myself looking at the latest additions to the blog list, just salivated over the French Delicacies, Catherine! My blog is subtitled ‘Get passionate…’ the idea being to link literature (reading and writing) with various topics which got me excited, so while not exclusively about France, some posts have French connections e.g. Biarritz and Victor Hugo, Toulouse and Saint-Exupéry, Cordes-sur-Ciel and Nabokov, le pays basque and Mark Kurlansky , Paris and Apollinaire etc. Thanks to those who have already posted comments, always a pleasure to hear from readers. http://laurettelong.com/
Bon weekend à tous!

Laura, your site is very appealing. I've lost so much of my French, I can't enjoy the posts as much as I'd like. Maybe the challenge is good for me.

Harriet Springbett | 5 comments Hello Francophiles. There really are some cool sites on this thread. I'm a writer living in Poitou-Charentes, France, and I blog about writing and cultural events - often bilingual literary festivals etc. - in the area. I'm also fascinated by the differences between the French and the British.

Love your site, Harriet! Really enjoyed the cat post (even though our particular cat was naughty just this morning). Are all your books YA?
Karen

Hi Karen. Glad you liked the site, and thanks for taking the time to tell me so! In answer to your question, my forthcoming novel, Tree Magic, is YA (though adults have enjoyed it too, as it's apparently quite a thought-provoking book). However, my short stories are for adults. There are links to them from my website. Have a lovely day, Harriet.

Nari (thenovelworld) | 6 comments This isn't my blog, but one I follow. Tamara at Thyme-for-tea.blogspot.com (https://thyme-for-tea.blogspot.com/20...)
hosts an annual challenge called Paris in July.

I've participated the last 3 years and its a wonderful way to get to know more Franophiles, learn about new books, music, movies and recipes.
