Discworld Publication Order Read Through discussion

Everyone's either going to (or already have, I've noticed) read this very soon.

I'm very exited to talk about it, especially since I feel it was a proper conclusion to The Colour of Magic, almost like a part 2.

Without getting too spoilery, what is everyones first impressions or if you've already read it, your opinions? What parts do you think newcomers will enjoy?

When I first finished The Color of Magic and started The Light Fantastic, I was really confused about what was going on. For some reason, I thought that he landed in a place underneath the disc. It seemed like some sort of weird limbo area to me. Did anyone else find it confusing?
