I 'm playing Warframe for more than a year and a half. I 'll admit, I 'm kinda addicted to it. What are you playing?
I get motion sick playing/watching first-person games, so I tend to stick with old school games like Super Mario Bros. Don't laugh ... I feel you laughing at me ;)

Nothing wrong with Old School. On occasion, I still play Sonic the Hedgehog. :D
I am currently waiting for the new Fallout game to release (11.10.15). I've replayed 3 (released in 2008) and New Vegas (released in 2010) so many times that I've lost count.
Thanks Cristina :) I see SO many games I'd love to play - many with a zombie theme, Halo, etc - but I just can't do it. Such a bummer.
I'm more an Age of Empires gal. I know what you mean Steph about the motion sickness, I used to watch my brother play Warcraft etc and it was dizzyness inducing. Though I did enjoy watching the Carmageddon run em over games. LOL
Waiting patiently for rise of the tomb raider to come out (10/11/15). I'm considering assassin's creed as the London City-scape looks amazing!!
I have been playing WoW on and off for years. Since it came out. Yeah, it's ridiculous, lol. I play for a few months and then take a few months off. I just started my account back up and my husband has to help me figure things out again. We'll see how long it takes before I decide it's too much work.
I feel silly but nothing I can really do about it. Is a bummer though b/c there are a ton I'd like to play if that wasn't an issue for me. Saw that Tomb Raider commercial - looks good.
I can't play any game because I have a little OCD problem. Just ask my husband, I started a game and would not stop until I finished it. Took me days, days that I should have used packing my belonging in boxes because we were moving across the country for work. Not my most stellar moment.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only gamer/reader!! I too get motion sickness when watching/playing certain games, so I tend to stick to platforms and side scrollers like Mario too. I first noticed this playing one of the old Spyro games (I hated that it made me sick since I really loved that game...). The last game I actually played (and finished) earlier this year was the Nintendo 3DS game Zelda: Majora's Mask. HUGE fan of Zelda... I'm trying to get them all.
No motion sickness here.I've been a serious gamer before, but had to give it up when the toddlers realized that the broken controller really doesn't work. So, long RPG games were off the list for a while.
Currently I've been enjoyed mind-numbing arcade games as a way to relax for a bit. My current favorite is an old XBOX game I downloaded called "Peggle". My 9 and 5 year old compete with me.

I get motion sickness as well. I tried WoW once, I lasted 15 mins before I had to stop. I bought my BIL a PS4 for his birthday when his PS3 broke and as part of his gratefulness he wanted me to do the mystery quests on Assassin's Creed with him. I was so glad to be holding my baby niece because I used her as an excuse to not pay too much attention to the screen. I'm also an Age of Empires fan. :)
I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one who suffers from motion sickness when watching/playing these games. *phew* :)
I think the games are just another kind of escapism, just visual as opposed to text. Mind you, at least the outcome is to a certain degree up to you unlike in books. And yay Ames, another Age of Empires gal :)
I know it's not quite the same thing but I love playing games on my smartphone. Escape the room games were a recent favourite. I burned through dozens of them a few months ago. Does anyone play Candy Crush or Angry Birds anymore? I don't. Isn't there an Angry Birds movie coming soon or something? Too late, I think. My love for Pet Rescue Saga has endured, though.

I saw a scene where the character is sitting on a ledge high above the city and there's a 360 of the London cityscape and it so detailed and beautiful! I fell in love!
@ Cassie: I bought my games yesterday and am now stuck in melbourne til late tomorrow doing a course for work so the games are sitting there teasing me because I can't play them :'(
I have been playing Yoshi's wooly world and now I just got Mario maker so I have been playing that as well... am I the only one that does not like Fallout lol my BF is wanting that game so bad but he has to wait till Friday to get it. I have a hard time playing gun games because I am just a moving target.
My brother has to wait for the weekend too I love the game, love most things by the creators!!
Also wanting Tomb Raider
I'm actually taking a class about video games at Uni right now. Lots to learn and think about and it is making want to play more games.I like games but, I don't have much experience so, I'm trying to stretch out (although late haha). I just finished Bioshock and Bastion, both of which were so fun.
I was told not to play Bioshock 2 or Infinite but, I'm not sure... I might still take a whack at them.
