Magdalena walked into the entry hall and looked around. "This place looks really old," She thought to herself. "And nicer than anything I could ever afford." Looking around cluelessly and desperately she set down her black bag with the little amount of clothing, shoes, and makeup that she owned, so basically her whole closet. Magdalena probably looked like she just got out of a dumpster, but she didn't care.
((would you rather have a servant or the lady of the house greet her))
((Either is fine. It really doesn't matter. Maybe like the lady of the house just so happens to run into her or something idk.))
((Alright!))
Lillian was strolling down the entry hall with her large dog, admiring the staircase when she spotted a rather bedraggled and stunned looking girl standing in the middle of the hall. "Who are you?" She gasped, affronted. "How dare you use the main entrance!" She snapped, striding over to where Magdalena stood.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know!" Magdalena brushed her clothes off and picked up her bag. "I'm new here. I was hired by someone, but I forget who." She spoke quickly and frantically. "I'm Magdalena. Nice to meet you." Not sure what to do, she stuck her hand out as if she wasn't sure if she should shake her hand or not.
"Perhaps it was me." Lillian said demurely, her moment of rage in the past, but she ignored Magdelena's outstreched hand. "Callisto will attend to you." She pointed at a another maid in a uniform, dusting a marble bust with an ostrich feather duster. Lillian left the room, snapping her fingers for her dog to follow.
Callisto let out a low whistle as Lillian left. "You got off easy!" She said breathlessly, picking up Magdelena's only bag. "I'm Callisto, but you can call me Callie. I'm a pretty new maid here too, only employed a couple months ago."

Magdalena nodded and smiled. "Nice to meet you, Callie! I'm Magdalena." She stared at her bag and back at Callie. "Who is she? Does she like... rule this place?" Making sure the girl wasn't there as she whispered as quiet as possible, but still able to be heard.
"Oh, Lillian? She's just a whiny old lady now, but you can't tell with all the surgery she's gotten done." Callie wrinkled her nose. "I think her real age is 45, or around there. You can tell by the eye wrinkles." She told Magdalena sagely, walking up the stairs.
"Does she own the house?" Magdalena repeated and walked up the stairs along with Callie. "I could never guess she was 45!" She said sarcastically. "I would never get plastic surgery!" She brushed her hand on her nose just barely.
"Yeah, her husband is gone a lot, she's our boss." Callie frowned, opening up a small door to a staircase. "I heard the rhinoplasty surgery she got two years ago cost over $3,500!" Callie loved to gossip, and continued as she opened up the door to the servants' quarters.
"Have you ever met her husband?" Magdalena added as she looked around the servants' quarters. "Which space is mine?" She said and looked very curious.
((Let's move this to the actual topic. I'll post first.))
"I believe this is the place..." Claire said as she places down her bag. "What a nice looking home!" Claire exclaimed to no one in particular. Claire examined the large room with curiosity. "Hello? Is anyone home?" She asked loudly.
"Hmmmmmm... I guess not..." She says to herself as she picks her luggage back up. "I'll check elsewhere..." She mutters to herself disatisfied. Claire walks out.
Seeing the girl walking out, Callisto ran over. "Oi!" She shouted,"I'll get your bags ma'am!" Being shuffled off odious dish washing duty, she was now directing guests around.
"Oh!" Claire exclaimed surprised that someone actually was present. Claire turned around and made her way back into the large room. "Hello, and thank you for your assistance with my bags." she states as she hands over her luggage. "I am Claire Le Blanc, who, may I ask are you?" She asks inquisitively. A slight smile graces her face as she awaits the answer.
"Callisto Terrell, at your service." Callisto grabbed the large bags, audibly groaning at their heavy weight. Gee, what did she have-- bricks?? "Shall I escort you to your rooms? We have to gonup the stairs. Or should I put some bags in the luggage room?@
Noticing the struggle she was having Claire asked, "Would you like me to carry some? I did carry them most the way her, a few more meters will be of no issue." She outstretched a hand, inviting her to hand over some of the bags. "And I would greatly appreciate if you showed me how to get to my room, yes, thank you." She said curtly.
Callisto gave Claire a mind boggling stare. "I'm fine ma'am." She replied, trudging up the stairs.
((Want me to create a room for claire? What's her last name!))
((Want me to create a room for claire? What's her last name!))
((Sure, her last name is Le Blanc))Claire followed behind her quietly, somewhat shocked at the rash behavior, she merely offered her assistance, she said nothing rude, but the stare made her feel as though she had perhaps accidentally insulted the woman. "Do you enjoy working here?" Claire asked in an attempt to break the silence.
"Not really." Callisto admitted. "I was going to go to nursing school, but my rat of father drank all the money away." It was the most Callie had said anything to anybody at Ivy Hall, but the girl was so damned annoying, she'd do anything to get her off her tail.
Claire listened intently, perhaps she could use what she learnt to become better fiends with her later. "I truly hope that my presence doesn't give her too much work..." Claire muttered as she continued following her to the room.
(( made her room. I'll post first ))
