No worries, it's fun to discover new books together as we all read along!

Mary Beth I read this book last month and thought it was pretty good. I loved the character Joe Ledger! He is full of one liners and hope you all enjoy this book like I did.
I will be ready to discuss it when you all are ready to discuss it. This is the first book in the Joe Ledger series and I think this is going to be a good series.
Thanks for nominating this book. If you have already read it, feel free to discuss it now. I will join you. If you haven't read it yet, while you are reading you can add spoiler tags of what you like about book while you are reading it. If you like a part in the book discuss it. Its actually fun doing it that way, that's what makes group reads fun. You don't have to have to wait and comment after you read it. I would love to discuss with you parts of the book that you like.

Annalisa Conti | 12 comments I read this book about a month ago, too, and I found it extremely entertaining: the action scenes are very fast moving and well described, the situations sound realistic (e.g. the technology, the plans of action), the characters are diverse.
I don't know if I'd call it a mystery novel - if it were a movie I'd call it an action movie.

James Love (jim_love) Donnie Wahlberg as Joe Ledger.

Sara | 2 comments I just finished this book. I absolutely loved it! Joe Ledger was an excellent main character. As @Annalisa said, the situations sounded realistic. The science of the prion disease was relatively believable from a scientific standpoint. The amount of research and his effort to be accurate was very clear. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I hope you all enjoyed this book just as much.
