Daniel (darthrevan182) | 8 comments Recently finished reading this, it took me a while to get used to the stop start writing style, but I enjoyed it overall.

The interlude Short Story idea is a brilliant way to update on Galaxy wide events and creates a bit of suspense between the chapters.

Looking forward to Part 2!

Is it anything to do with the new cartoon show?

message 3: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (darthrevan182) | 8 comments No, Rebels is set before The Original Trilogy and Aftermath is just after.

Edward Cheer | 5 comments Does this story focus on Luke? The new Force Awakens characters? Or does it focus on Kylo Ren?

message 5: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (darthrevan182) | 8 comments It is a new set of Characters all linked via one event. The movie characters that are most involved are Mon Mothma, Admiral Ackbar and Wedge.

Luke does not appear and niether do any Force Awakens characters.

Danielle (danielleprice97) | 1 comments The Aftermath trilogy is meant to explain what is happening in the galaxy between Episode VI and Episode VII.

John (thejphys) | 1 comments I loved this book! I agree that it was a great way to update on what is going on after the destruction of the 2nd Death Star. I cant wait to read the next one!

Edward Cheer | 5 comments I wasn't big for it. The dialogue was kinda cheesey at points (I think Dengar says to this one guy, "I've been a bounty hunter since before you were in space diapers.") and the story is pretty predictable, but there are some genuinely well-written characters- like the new gay Star Wars character, Sinjir Velus. He was probably my favorite in the cast.

CJ (cjspear) I really, really found his writing to be immature and without skill. I have no idea how he scored a trilogy of books.

After reading the second one, I am now sure that this author is simply kitsch.
