The river and area around the camp.

Ravenpelt ran through the terrritory "come on Silverfire!" He called

Frostfur trotted onto the bank of the river, searching the grasses for Feverfew.

"So Frostfur, why did Starclan accept Ratstar, I thought Starclan disliked evil cats." Redpaw asked.

"I'm not sure, but if Starclan did, they're questioning it now." Frostfur responded. She was glad her apprentice felt comfortable enough to ask her such things.

"I hope, but if Ratstar dies now, then evil or not, the clan would suffer from that too, I doubt Ravenpelt thinks he's ready, altough he would be a better leader." Redpaw said.

"I agree. Ravenpelt doesn't think he's ready, but in my opinion he would make a fine leader." Frostfur stated. A few nasty feeling were getting stirred up inside her, and she didn't like it.

Redpaw stopped and quickly caught a mouse. "Sorry I'm hungry." Redpaw said. Redpaw began eating. "If Ravenpelt becomes leader, who do you think he'll choose as the new deputy." Redpaw asked.

"Maybe Silverfire, she's an excellent warrior and he fancies her." Frostfur chuckled. She sunk her claws into some moss, hoping her young apprentice couldn't see how upset she was.

Redpaw was about to notice it when something else distracted him. "Hey I found the Feverfew." Redpaw said happily.

"That's great!" Frostfur mewed, and began padding over to her apprentice. Suddenly she stopped in her tracks. She collapsed on the bank.

"Frostfur, what's wrong?" Redpaw asked as he ran to her.

Frostfur's eyes were open, but they were glazed over. Her body was totally still, her mind seemed to be somewhere else.

"Is she having a vision." Redpaw thought.

Frostfur suddenly jumped up, smacking into her apprentice. "Ow! Redpaw, how much time has passed?"

"It hasn't been long." Redpaw said.

Frostfur sat down, relieved. "Starclan has shown me something, something dangerous."

"What then?" Redpaw asked nervously.

"Shadowclan's leader is planning to overthrow Ratstar." Frostfur whispered softly. "According to the code I'm supposed to report this to Ratstar, but I can't exactly do that.

"You don't want him to be prepared, you want him to die." Redpaw said. Redpaw finished his mouse.

"I bet he'll go to the dark forest." Redpaw said.

"I know, but I will need to pray to Starclan and ask them for guidance about what to do with this information." Frostfur mewed, deep in thought.

"You can go to the moonstone, I can stay in the camp in case someone needs our help." Redpaw said.

"I will, but not tonight, Ratstar will be suspicious. You cannot share any of what I have told you tonight with anyone else, okay?"

"I swear to Starclan." Redpaw said.

"But do you know when he'll attack, do you even know if Ratstar will be the only victim." Redpaw asked.

"Even he doesn't know exactly when he will attack, but Ratstar is intended to be the only victim as far as I can tell." Frostfur replied.

"Let's hope that stays that way." Redpaw said.

"I agree. We should get back to camp, it's getting late." Frostfur mewed.

"Yeah, we better go." Redpaw said as he took half of the Feverfew in his mouth to carry it.

Frostfur nodded then grabbed the other half of Feverfew and made her way back into camp, still thinking about her vision.

"Are you coming Ivypaw?" Nightshadow asked.

Ivypaw followed Nightshadow.

"So Nightshadow, how are things coming along in Riverclan." Badgerfur asked.

"Not that well, especially not now that Nightfur is planning to betray Riverclan to Shadowclan." Nightshadow said, both he and Badgerfur talked as if Ivypaw wasn't there.

Ivypaw's eyes widened "He is??" She asked.

"Yes, I've seen him talking to Ravenstar multiple times, and an shadowclan apprentice accidently said it to me." Nightshadow said.

"Sounds like a big problem, what will they do?" Badgerfur asked.

"Wow! Night fur must be stopped!" Ivypaw exclaimed

"No, not yet." Nightshadow said.

Ivypaw sighed. "When?" She asked.

"They said they will try to attack during the gathering, that's when we'll punish Nightfur." Nightshadow said.

"So they're trying to kill someone during a gathering, that's 2 important rules of the warrior code broken right there." Badgerfur said.

"Wow...they are evil cats." Ivypaw exclaimed. "I.....have something to confess.......when I go to sleep every night a cat comes and helps me be a better warrior. He teaches me battle moves. Is that a bad thing?" She asked.

"Depends on how you use that training." Nightshadow said.

"Oh... Ok." Ivypaw said. "A lot of cats don't like you guys.....but you're actually the good guys. I heard Ravenstar, Creekstar, and Bramblestar........" Her voice trailed off.

((NO NO NO DON'T TELL THEM SHE SHOULDN'T KNOW ANYWAY DO NOT TELL THEM NO NO NO))

"It doesn't really matter how cats think about someone, the way you feel about a cat should be because of his actions, not because everyone else has that feeling." Nightshadow said.

Badgerfur caught a rabbit. "Has the clan already been fed." Badgerfur asked.
