Hi :)

Some of us have been reading a lot of royal history books and some not so much. I wanted to start this thread for the more "experienced" readers to give some recommendations for people who don't know as much about royal history.

For starter Romanov books, The Lost Crown, Anastasia and her Sisters, and Anastasia the Last Grand Duchess, Russia 1914 are good. Anastasia's Secret and The Curse of the Romanovs are fun reads but not as good in the way of accuracy. The Lost Crown is especially good because it gives you links to further information on books and websites.

Dale Pearl (hollowman777) | 1 comments Just finished the Romanov sisters by Helen Rapport. I'm hooked now. I will get The lost crown next and see if it fills in on some of the missing pieces and adds even more flavour to such a fascinating family
