Almost every nightmare from my childhood was based on stories from this book! A great read.

Read it multiple times over the years. Fantastic book!

I read it after seeing the movie, so I was surprised to see there were a lot of differences between the two. I guess the movie was actually a melding of two separate books?

I read it years ago as a recommendation from the man I was dating, who is now my husband. I loved the book, and was very disappointed that they strayed so far from the original plot line. Although I like Will Smith as an actor, it was more interesting by far to have humans turn out to be the legend.
