Jacqueline grinned and nudged Aurelia with her elbow. "See? Isn't seeing a film much better than learning to talk to animals or whatever?" She skipped down the aisle trying to find a good seat. "And there is absolutely no way for either of us to get in trouble, so relax. And we're only missing a few classes." Jackie reconsidered the last sentence. "Okay, so I'm missing all of my classes today, but you're only skipping a couple."
Conner had already taken a seat in the frontmost row of chairs, and held a book in his hand, and food in the other. This was the one day when he only needed to attend 2 classes, and had already done so. Frankly, it was his favourite day of the week, for doing so. No one to boss me around, tell me what to do, or no responsibilities Just as he was waiting for the movie to start (he was the only one in the cinema) he heard 2 individuals walk into the room talking, and put down his book, glancing at them.
Jackie scanned the seats in the theatre and saw a boy in the front row. "Hey, I think he goes to the school as well," she told Aurelia. She tried to catch his eye and wave with a smile. "Yeah, I'm sure I've seen him before."
((Hey! I'm sorry I didn't notice this till now! By the way, is skipping class actually allowed here? Where I'm from, if you don't report to school they call your parents straight and then you're dead meat. Also, I don't think anyone would ever dare to in the first place :P))While Jackie seemed perfectly at ease with being in the theatre and was trying to convince her that being dragged out of class was a good thing, Aurelia was panicking. She had technically been part of lying to a teacher, was skipping class, and had left the classroom with her diary and all her valuables back there. The amount of bad things that could happen were terrifying. Having her friend say that someone that went to Disney High had saw them and could tell the teacher just made her start hyperventilate. 'Can't...breathe... and what on earth are you doing he could tell on us!' she shrieked, everything coming out in a rush.
((Skipping class is allowed I guess. I mean, it's not allowed anywhere but you can get in trouble if you get caught which could happen at any time.))
Jackie's eyes widened. "Oh, crap, Lia are you okay?" She grabbed her friend's arms. "Look, just calm down. Nothing bad is going to happen. That guy doesn't even know us, and I doubt he'd turn us in." Jackie inwardly groaned, hoping Lia wouldn't have a full-out panic attack. "Really, I promise everything will be fine. Relax."
'Just give me a moment,' Aurelia said amidst trying to take deep breaths. 'And stop waving at that guy! You can't know for sure.' But she was more calmed down after that, as well as grateful to Jackie. She didn't know what she'd do without her, and she was pretty sure no one else would be able to stand how she was.
"What? He's kind of cute." Jackie grinned at Lia. "Now, if anything starts going wrong, just get out and leave the talking to me, okay?" She squeezes Aurelia's hand in what she hoped was a reassuring and comforting gesture, but she couldn't be sure.
