What state is Fairfold in?

Jessica Any ideas what state it was intended to be in?

I believe that this isn't an actually state, I'm assuming it is based off the state Fairfield. I'm not entirely sure but that is my best guess:)

Dina Most likely New Jersey (my own state). Tithe was based there. Holly Black is from central NJ and there are mentions of Philadelphia and NY. (Jers is oft considered a suburb of NY & Philly)
