Can you elaborate on the magical powers? Was the witch able to see the future or read minds or anything like that? I need more specifics to give to the Mods :)

It's an Urban Fantasy where a group of people have to have a natural born magic ability to be considered a witch and accepted into the Church, which has replaced the government in the future. They use magic in their blood, spells, items, and such to do magic. They don't use the magic for anything like clairvoyancy; it is related to banishing ghosts.
