Do we need a group acronym?

Because the "SOG" part brings to mind the Vietnam era MACVSOG unit and the present day CIA SAD SOG paramilitary organization.
Option 1 is perhaps not the best idea. Because like MI5 who really don't like making an acronym of their official name (Security Services, they prefer to be referred in full), it has the negative connotations related to the Nazi "SS".
SSG....Like the Austrian sniper rifle. I personally prefer S-SOG, but since you have the moderator authority, you have the final say.
The Pakis? ahaha. That's what Pakistani peoples are called in NYC.
Anyway, (thankfully) these name conflicts are obscure enough for us to get by, lol
I really need something short, is my reasoning. Anyway I'm not planning on altering the group title or anything, just my references *to our page* when I'm out-and-about in other threads around the site.
Thanks for letting me brainstorm with y'all. If anyone has any better ideas please continue to submit them, I'll be receptive...

Could we devise an acronym without losing (gasp) our group identity?
