Maybe we could do something with people who can transform into dragons/have dragon lineage? I have an idea budding, I think.
Okay. Do you want to do two different ideas then?And for the dragon idea, maybe their powers/dragon-ness appears at a certain age and one of them helps the other get used to it..? This is just what I first thought about. I'll keep thinking to try and figure out more.
If you want two ideas, then sure. That sounds good, maybe powers start appearing around 15-16 but one is a late bloomer and gets them at 18?
Okay. Do you want a more realistic or historical one for the second one? For the dragon one, that sounds good.
It's up to you, though if it's historical I would like it to be in an interesting time period.Ok, so let's say that centuries ago dragons developed the ability to turn into humans. some stayed with their own kind but others mated with humans... the late bloomer is a pure-dragon and the one helping them is a mixed-dragon. Of course there's gonna be some prejudices and hate there.
Okay. What about like late 1800s, Victorian Era,London for a time/place setting..? Or if you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them.
I like that for the dragon one. Could I be the mixed or did you want to?
That sounds good, let me do a bit of research so that I am definite on what's going on there, the etiquette and etcYou can def have the mixed, but mind if I'm the girl for that one? Or would you rather be the girl?
Sure. Name:
Age:
Human appearance:
Dragon appearance:
Anything else to add?
Oh. And I have an idea for the Victorian era one. So in the late 1800s, around 1880 I think, the Jack the Ripper killings happened. Maybe a girl was attacked but somehow escaped. A police officer is assigned to protect her. Would that work?
Let's add a bit more to the templateName:
Age:
Human appearance:
Dragon appearance:
Gender:
Personality outline:
Oooh I like that idea, I can definitely go for it
Okay. So I'm the girl in London and guy for dragon?That template looks good for the dragon one. Now, what about the London one?
~~~Dragon Guy~~~Name: Jasper Ashe Hearken
Gen is short and curvy, a bit on the plump side if you will. She has long, fiery red hair (pun maybe intended) and creamy skin that contrasts with her golden eyes. She is quick to smile and slow to frown.
Dragon appearance: http://pre14.deviantart.net/441c/th/p... something like this, only a bit smaller and more feminine.
Gender: Female
Personality outline: Kind and sweet, if a bit prejudiced against half-dragons. She is always upbeat and cheery, almost too much so.
Other: She comes from a pretentiously pure family.
Name: Robert Charles HawthorneAge: 25
Appearance: http://mereadalot.net/wp-content/uplo...
Brown hair, green eyes, and smolder. (You don't know how tempting it was to use Benedict Cumberbatch)
Personality outline: Charming and sweet, but also tends to distance himself from others. He tries to do most things by-the-book.
History outline: Mother died when he was young and left him the only child of a Baron. He never really wanted to get into the titles and aristocracy so he pursued a detective career.
THanks, yours look pretty cool too!Umm, idk. Maybe Dragon Guy can walk up on Dragon girl trying to get her powers to work and getting frustrated.
You can choose on the Victorians
Sure. That works for the dragon one. For the Victorian, maybe right after she gets attacked and your character is assigned to protect her.
Would you like to start?
Okay. You can post first with the dragon one and then when I reply, I'll start the Victorian one as well.
Gen sits in a grassy meadow, growing more frustrated with each passing second. She was 18 for Drake's sake! She should have manifested her powers by now. Hell, being a pure-blood she should have developed early if anything. But nooo, she just had to be a "late bloomer". Her dad had given her this speech about how the late bloomer was the most beautiful and blah blah blah a bunch of crap. She did her best to listen and be a good daughter, but sometimes it was just too much. She wasn't all that girly, even though that's what "proper young ladies" should be like. She tries to conjure fire again, but the attempt serves only to frustrate her more. She just couldn't do it, one of the most basic skills a dragon learned. Even her 14 year old sister could do it!
((It's fine. Sorry. I just got excited to start this.))Jasper flew above the meadow in dragon form, looking like a small grey cloud since he was so far up. He noticed someone in the meadow and flew down closer, curious. He landed a little ways away from where the other dragon was and carefully approached.
-----
Tessa sat in a chair at the police station, her hands shaking. She had been checked out and released from the hospital and brought to the station. She had already told an officer what had happened and they were looking into it along with assigning someone to keep her safe, guessing the mysterious killer would try and find her to finish the job. She bit her lip nervously, looking around.
"Ughhhhh whyyyyyyyyyyyyy?!?!" Gen screams into the sky, releasing a tiny bit of her massive amount of frustration. She plops down into the spongy grass and rips up a flower. "This is ridiculous. I can do this. I'm just not trying hard enough." She reason with herself. Good thing no one was around here, she'd probably sound crazy.------
Robert strides into the lobby and looks around. He notices a a frightened looking young lady, this must be his new charge. He had to admit that he had not expected his career would take this turn... He was a detective not a bodyguard. Well... he did piss off a few of the bosses on that one assignment. Anyhow, he would do this assignment exactly as told. He walks up to the girl and asks, "Hello, Ms. Blackthorn?"
Jasper tilted his head to the side as he heard her shout. "You alright?" He asked quietly, approaching her. He studied her carefully, curious as to why she seemed so frustrated. Jasper thought he might be able to help her. That would be if she would let him. ----
Tessa bit her lower lip and nodded. She tried to hide the fact that her hands were shaking, trying to act calm. She was still panicking from what had happened just a few hours ago. She glanced up at the guy, guessing he was the one assigned to protect her. She didn't really want someone to have to keep an eye on her but the police did so she just went along with it.
Genevieve gasps and jumps in surprise, whirling around to face Jasper. Crap crap crap crap crap. Someone had seen her out of character, and her inability to BE a dragon. "Uh, um... I'm fine." She puts her smile on and tries to look carefree "J-just couldn't... um... find something?" She stammers out. She was making even more of a fool of herself, and in front of nice-looking guy.----
Robert frowns when he notices the extent of the girl's terror. "Ms. Blackthorn, I am Robert Hawthorne. I have been assigned to protect you, so you have no need to fear." He promises her with a polite bow. "Are you of a-" he breaks off "Well I suppose that was a foolish question." he admits. "That is, are you feeling alright enough to walk home Miss?" he asks
Jasper tilted his head, not believing her. "I really don't believe you were looking something because I don't think you'd scream at the sky, but okay." Jasper shrugged. He looked around the meadow. ----
Tessa nodded. She was more than ready to get home, it was somewhere that she felt like she would feel safe at. "You can ask me questions, chances are they aren't as foolish as you think.." She said quietly, her voice shaking a little bit. Tessa bit her lip and looked down, standing up.
Gen blushes, "W-well it's not important." She tries to maintain her smile, "So, who are you anyway?" She asks curiously, looking the guy up and down. Could she say yum? His hair was a pretty cool color, almost white looking, making her wonder what he looked like as a dragon.----
Robert wraps an arm around Tessa's shoulders in order to comfort her and also as a strategic move, should someone try to attack them. He could easily push her out of the way and still have time to defend himself with her so close. "That may be, but I try not to make a fool of myself the first time I am in a lovely lady's presence." He half jokes as he leads her out of the building.
