Hey all science fiction lovers I have been reading a great book which is able to thread a history of World War Ii and throwing in a science fiction twist. Has anyone gotten into the plot? If so how do you keep track of the differing character sketches?

At first I got really confused to who is who with the character / location / time changing in every chapter but by the second book I knew them so well that it got easier
