((u rp here, not talk in Italian xD))
Gray sighs, it was nice to be home. She would have to travel soon, but Cosenza wasn't too far away from the hills near Viale Virgilio. Earth is so much better than Luna. White comes up to her and lays her face in her lap. Gray rubs White's head. She had stolen a ship, and a D-COMM. It wasn't too hard. But she could never harm innocent people, no matter how hard the scientist's tried.
She looked down at her wrist. LSOP001G.
"First girl" She mutters. People would recognize the pack mark. She grabs some tape from her bag and wraps up her arm.
She was the Beta, but acted and was treated like an Alpha at home.
The new home she had built was improved over the last few months. She had hacked into the European Providence's network and now had internet access. Those 2nd era routers helped a ton. The house was small and plastered. Much like the ones in Cosenza. Only it was concealed with trees. She had made a small path to the house in the woods, but she left the entrance to the main roads covered and blooming.
She gets up from her spot and enters her house.
Raven found herself in Italy for the fourth time that year. Being a restless soul, she wasn't one for staying in one place, especially when there was nothing to ground her. She stroked her AK-47 gun lovingly as she walked through the hills and the woods. It was her best friend ever since Poe died.
Gray hears a noise coming from the woods. A 1/29 of a mile away (The scientists had improved her hearing). Her eyes widen, she didn't like people. She wills White to be quiet.
Raven continued walking, tensing a little. She had grown good at sensing if there were people around. She didn't need to be caught, not today.
Gray blinks, the human stopped moving. She made a move for her pistol. An Astra A-60. She loaded the pistol, but didn't make a move to aim.
((really? astra? that's my character's name in another group))
Raven had her finger on the trigger, the rifle up and ready to fire. "Goddamn it. She's here, isn't she? She knows. If I die, I go down fighting like Poe," she hissed quietly, speaking to herself. "Goddamn. I'll be caught."
Raven had her finger on the trigger, the rifle up and ready to fire. "Goddamn it. She's here, isn't she? She knows. If I die, I go down fighting like Poe," she hissed quietly, speaking to herself. "Goddamn. I'll be caught."
"You first," Raven replied. "If you've been looking for me, then I'm out of business. If you've been looking for other reasons… well, I was hired. Kill my payers instead."
Gray chuckles. "Come 15 paces forward and then we can talk properly. I am not looking for you. I do not know who you are and i hope you do not know who I am."She places down her gun, making sure the human can hear it. She sits down on one of the patio chair. Waiting.
Raven cautiously stepped forward, her gun still level. She was ready to use it. Then she saw a girl. Just a girl. Raven relaxed and laughed a little. "You in hiding, too?"
"No. Just… looking for a job," Raven replied. Her gun was lowered slowly and then slung back across her back. "Are you a lunar?"
"Yes," She said. "I hope you don't have any trouble with that." She picked up the gun and placed in her holster."The names Gray," She said putting out her hand.
"Raven," Raven replied, trying to stop herself from getting her AK-47 and killing the lunar in front of her. Lunars had killed her brother, and she would kill them.
"Pleasure," Gray noticed Raven's eyes shifting to her gun.
"I am not a thurmage, I know you have no right to trust me, but you do not have to kill me."
She sat back down in the chair.
"I do not serve them,"
"All Lunars are evil in their own way," Raven snarled. Her gun was out in a flash, her finger on the trigger. "They kill. They lie. I don't trust you."
Gray still remains calm. "They took me away from my family, I have no memory of them. I hacked into the Lunar data base and found my parents records, both dead. I want revenge on Luna as well."She growls, "I hate Luna."
"Lunars don't attack Lunars. They attack Earthens. They kill. They spread disease. Give me one good reason not to shoot you. Tell me why I should even believe half of what you say," Raven hissed.
Gray laughed. She takes the tape off her arm. And shows Raven the tattoo."First Girl," She says pointing to the 001G.
"I am a shell, but Levana can control me. My parents wanted to save me, Levana found out and killed them both. Once she found that she could control me, she had me genetically modified. I hated her for it, but i couldn't show it. The pain I had to endure. The months i would have to spend training my escape." Gray paused to take a breathe and to fix the part in her hair.
"It would've been better if she left me."
"You lie," Raven replied stiffly. Her pointer finger was calmly placed on the trigger, her whole body terse and yet somehow relaxed. "Shells, from what I know, cannot be controlled."
"You have not lived on Luna." Gray says turning around. "Shoot me if you want, I was programmed not to feel pain."She sat down and stroked White's head.
"Programmed. You're a cyborg, as well as Lunar." Raven wanted to pull the trigger so badly, so very badly, but something was holding her back. Her brother's ghost, at her shoulder, was whispering in her ear, telling her to become allies with this girl. Raven, however, was not convinced.
"Yup, though my programing isn't shown, physically." She got up and sat down in the patio chair again. White came to sit in her lap.
"I'm going to leave," Raven said steadily after a long pause. "You will not hurt me. You will not follow me. Or else I will your make sure that no one ever finds your body." She began to walk backwards, her gun still pointing at Grey's face. "You will not tell anyone I was here, or else I will make it my personal business to find you and kill you. If I get caught and it's partially your fault- well, I'm taking you down with me."
"I just need my brother back," Raven answered. "But that's never going to happen because of your kind."
"I have been very cooperative with your false accusations Raven." She says getting up, "I don't support the Lunars, and that can't seem to get to your head."She point to the left of the house. "Closest road is that way. Godspeed."
"Like you've shown me anything that would make me trust you," Raven scoffed. "For all I know, you could follow me and I wouldn't even know. Because all Lunars are lying, cheating, manipulative tyrants." She kept her gun trained on Grey, then got far away enough so that she couldn't be attacked. Then Raven began to run.
Raven was too far off to hear, ducking into the trees. She heard a roar above her- a ship, probably looking for her. She ran faster.
Gray's eye widen, a ship. She rushes White inside and goes after Raven. They will find her, it would be too easy.
Raven stopped and scrambled under a tree's particularly thick canopy. "Please…" she moaned. "No. I want to stay alive. Please. Too many mistakes to make up." Her gun was out and ready to open fire on the ship above her.
Gray keeps on running she sees Raven with her gun pointing up to the sky. She keeps on running and tackles Raven by her legs, sending them into a bush. "Are you crazy?!"
"Yes, I'm freaking crazy. Get the hell off me!" Raven shouted, shoving Gray off. "You're going to get us killed! I had more a chance of survival alone!"
Gray shoves a hand over Raven's mouth. She waits. The ship passes. "Baka, be lucky." Gray says, giving one last look to Raven. She jogs back to her house.
Raven almost shot Gray right then and there. "What the hell makes you think I can't take care of myself?" she shouted at Gray. "I've been doing it for five years!"
"Damn you, I'm not going to freaking shoot you," Raven snarled. She spun around on her heel and began to walk away, a dark scowl on her face.
Without even a backward glance, Raven left, her last curse drifting through the still air.
Gray put on her cloak. Wrapping the soft fabric around her shoulders, she buttoned it at the neck, and flipped up the collar. She slung her bag over her head, resting it on her side. It was leather, old and worn, but it was just how she liked it. It was a long walk to the nearest village; Conzensa. It was parcially destroying during the third world war and was still being rebuilt.
She passed many farms on the walk to Conzensa. People gave her strange looks from the fields as she passed. She cringed when she saw each of them. She patted her side, making sure the knife was still there. She had her own fair amount of run ins with the commoners.
