Ruby was going to kill Violetta. She left her with Rose and that other kid with them. Without even telling her! Violetta and Derek both. She wasn't mad at Derek, since she knew that were Violetta went, he went trailing after her.
"The worst part is that you can't even blame him. She's too pretty and nice that Ugh." Rose said. Ruby hated when Rose would say these things about her best friend.
Ruby turned around Rose jumped back. "For one: You can't say anything about her. Ever." Only she can say these things, since Violetta was HER bestfriend.She continued, "Second, why don't you say them when she's here? Huh? Because you just sound F****n back stabber,lying..." She said other things that not even the stars couldn't cover.

Yessica was prowling the streets for food when she saw a girl up ahead. She was a couple years older than her and was swearing extremely loudly to herself while two kids sat next to her gazing into nothing.
"Hey!" Yessica yelled. "This is my territory!"

Ruby turned around, hand on her blade. She was still angry with Rose who knew that what she was saying was true, and the girl wasn't helping to her anger.
"Oh, yeah? And where would that be? Did you pee every corner? No, huh? And last time I heard, it was America, the land of freedome." She knew she was being rude, but the girl did just interuppt her moment of anger towards Rose.

Yessica glared right back at the girl and spat, "Technically America is not a free country. It took us centuries to get rights among everyone and now are we perfect? NO. The government is a group of jack@$$'s who don't give a f*** about anyone other than their sorry @$$'s! And actually yes, I have pissed on most of these corners."

Ruby would have had been mad or disgusted if she weren't already used to the smell and dirtiest things one could imagine, but she was.
"Oh, really? Well I'm sorry to say this, Shorts. But I don't really care. And see that bush over there?" Then she nodded at Eric, (The other kid besides Rose),"It's much more his now. Sorry." She said, with mock innocence.
"Hey!" Said Eric. He wasn't really used to the attention that he was receiving that moment.

Yessica glared so hard at the girl her eyes actually hurt. Finally she looked away, sighing and replied, "Who made you Queen of the World?" Yessica turns away prepared to storm off before realizing she hadn't gotten what she'd come for. She turned back around and said sheepishly, "Got any food?"

Ruby stepped back for a moment. Not because of the girls hard staring, but because she sounded so different than what she did a few moments ago.
"Yes. But tell me, who are you?" She was going to give food to a stranger, so might as well get it over with.

"Who I was once, and who am I am now are very different people. Are you asking my origin and history or my name? Because my name is the last remaining bit of the girl I used to be." Yessica knew she sounded crazy but it was the only way she could phrase what was going on inside her mess of a brain. Also, her mouth spoke before her mind actually processed what she was saying.

Ruby was confused."Okay....? Just tell me about the girl you are now. And what she wants in her future. " She was confused by the girls answer. What in the stars abouve? She thought.

"I'm Yessica. And I want a life." Straight forward and simple. She could tell the girl was beginning to think Yessica was crazy. "I think that's a wish everyone on the streets wants. Also, I want to be heard."

"Okay. But what is...never mind. Please explain yourself, I don't undestan you." She didn't. Since she was only giving straight foward answers. which annoyed her.

Yessica glared at the girl. "Why is she so nosy? Stars." She thought.
"My parents are dead. WHile I'm not so sure about my mother…but she's dead to me. I'm a runaway…and a…a…never mind." Yessica said, turning her head away, not wanting to make anymore eye contact.

Well, I guess it's my turn then. I'm a lunar. Un water by my parents. But I'll slit your throat if you tell anyone." Then she gave the girl a bag with Fruit.

Yessica smiled at the girl. "It seems we have more in common the you would think." She accepted the bag of fruit and starts to turn away before stopping. "How can I thank you when I don not know your name?"

Ruby smiled. So she was lunar. "Ruby." She said. then she nodded towards Rose and Eric,"That's rose and Eric. We have other comrades, but we split up for a while. So, what are you up to?"

Yessica pursed her lips and looked away. "I'm alone." She began to walk away only stopping briefly to call, "Thank you, Ruby." She walked slowly, secretly hoping the Ruby will stop her and invite her to stay awhile.

"Hey, wait." Ruby called out. " You said we have more then common than we thought. So," She looked at her other comrades and said, "Wanna become a sixth member of our group?" She asked, cautiously. "Since you are alond, Might as well, no?" She said.

Yessica stopped and turns. "Guess there are nice people on the street after all," She said smiling. "Here's your fruit back."

"Nah, keep it. So, yeah?" She said. they needed as much Lunar they could get into her group. Stronger army. "So, tell me what you can do."

Yessica stuffed the fruit into the pocket of her dirty coat before stopping to think. "Well," she mused. "I'm pretty good at hand-to-hand combat…I'm not afraid to throw a punch here and there."

Ruby laughed."Good enough. But in our group, you need to learn something new everyday. And since you have survived alone, then I say it's good enough." All her comrades were taught there ways around tech, combat, and survival. So she had to be too.

Yessica put her hands on her hips and spread her feet apart in a stance which she hoped made her look tough. "I'm ready!" she said.

Ruby laughed again.
"Great, but first, your vloth." She said, looking at her out fit. It was dirty and ragged. The other members all had Bullitt proof outfits, so she would have to change that first.
"Second, you need to eat."

Yessica sat down in eager anticipation. "I really do appreciate this. Sorry, I was so mean earlier....I don't like strangers...I never know their next move." She said, biting into an apple.

Ruby sat on the other side of the girl. "It's ok. Neither do I." She said. then she thought about something.
"Hey, do mind if we walk and eat? We need to get you washed up first." She stood up and waited for her.
