Zoe walked through the passageway, a clipboard in hand with a pencil. She was writing down some notes on the last portship that had arrived. "It…brung…resources…that…Luna…." Zoe said aloud as her heels went clip-clop-clip-clop on the floor. She was wearing a long-sleeved white blouse tucked into her tight, knee-length black skirt.
As she neared the entrance to the Throne Room, Zoe looked up. She wasn't used to it being this quiet. If she stopped, she could swear she could hear a pin drop.
"Something happened…" she murmured to herself. She had ought to go see Linda and ask her, although it seriously wasn't her business.
Except it was. She was second head thaumaturge, as Levana had asked. She turned around and gazed. Narrowing her eyes, she walked into the throne room, her eyes still reading through her notes.
