The Book of Life discussion

QUESTION:

If you were given a book with a story of your life, will you read the ending? why?or why not?

I don't think I would read the ending. I might skip ahead a few pages. Maybe read the pages prior to where I was a few times to make sure I got the details right. But the mystery would be missing if you read the entire book. I would also be disappointed if it was a novella instead of a epic.

I think I would be too curious and would totally read the ending. If I don't like how it ends, I could always change it, right?

If the ending were already written, any attempts to change it would also be included in the book.

I don't think I will read the ending because it will remove the motivation of achieving something

I definitely wouldn't read the ending! What if it was way shorter than you thought it would be? I'd be afraid that would make me unable to enjoy anything else for the rest of the 'book.' Plus, I enjoy living in the moment. If I read the end, I'd always be waiting for that next thing to happen and possibly miss out on what's going on now.
