So Here's the information that we've all been waiting for.

For this contest each of you will be paired up and both of you will work on a Christmas short story. Each team will be given a theme to focus on for your Christmas story. But this is only part 1 of the contest.

(Here's part 2) Once the short stories are all written and everyone has voted on their favorite story. The winning team will then write a separate short story (of their choosing) and the winner of that short story will win the prize.

Here are the rules for part 1

1. Story has to take place during December
2. Story has to have at least 1000 words
3. You must submit before or on the 25th of December 2015
4. If you're partner quits you are disqualified UNLESS another team wants you to join them.
5. Have fun!

The rules for part 2 will be posted later on.

Now I'm sure you guys have lots of questions so ask them here. But I will answer a few you might have.

(Q) If I'm apart of the winning team do I have to do the Part 2 contest even if I don't want the prize.
(A) Nope the part 2 contest is optional, but since I can't send a prizes to each of you this is the only way I can choose.

(Q) What's the prize?
(A) I haven't chosen a prize yet, but I will let you guys know when I figure it out.

(Q) How am I supposed to write a story with someone else?
(A) I recommend that you send a friend request on goodreads to your partner. That way you guys can swap ideas and decide how you want to write the story.

(Q) What are the short story themes?
(A) Love, Fear, and Hope

(Q) When will we know who are partners are?
(A) Really soon.

P.s Once you know who's your partner you can start writing your story
