I'll be a little pate to the party, but I am excited to see what you all think!(You all may have to jog my memory a bit and remind me what happened in Cress.)
YASSS!!! I don't think I'll get my hands on it for a few more weeks, but can't wait to discuss it with all of you. :D

Ditto, cant read it now, but will soon.
I've been trying to read about 100 pages per day, but so far only around 160 pages in. Fantastic so far!

HAHAHA! Necromancy? I like it!

*bump*So I'm 142 pages in and I like it a lot.
There's some plot points I don't quite remember still, and I've had to reimagine some characters completely because I forgot how I envisioned them a year ago. But their personalities are the same and that's helped to job my memory a bit.
I also remembered that Prince Kai : A+++++++++++.
I'm also reading it right now! I think I'm about 600 pages in so I'm getting towards the end, and AAHH IT'S SO INTENSE. I was afraid the lengthiness wouldn't be necessary, but despite the size of the book I feel like it hasn't slowed down for a second. I'm really loving it!

I started the book a couple months ago and had to put it down about halfway in...it kind of slowed down for me a bit, plus I didn't have the time to really read much
Page 301.Really enjoying this so far. Jacin especially is a terrific, compelling character. Excited to continue later tonight.
I thought it felt a little long for the first 40% or so, but at that point, it completely took off and the story just flew by!! I was really happy with how the series ended!

Ugh, tell me about it! And she just gets worse and worse, lol. :P
agh I just realized I never commented when I read this /headdeskLevana is one of the most horrific villains in YA nowadays

That was my opinion as well. Slow at first with a lot of relationship stuff that felt a little bit repetitive, but then at 42% it took off and never slowed down :)
Glad everyone is liking ittttttt!!!

I was getting so mad at Levana in this book!!! It felt like Cinder and the crew were never going to catch a break.
page 532.I didn't read much today, but I just thought I'd note how well Meyer incorporates the original fairy tale storylines into her books.
The allusions are subtle and placed sporadically throughout the books, almost as a reminder that these fairy tales were the inspiration behind the series.
It's nice to be able to lose yourself in her new story, and then smile when you notice the little homages to the true fairy tales.
@Heidi - Right? She's so awful! @Daniel - I love that, too. She comes up with such creative ways to incorporate the original fairytales. :)
I finished the book yesterday and I was blown away! I think it might be my favorite of the series. All the storylines were handled so well, and I was on the edge of my seat for all 800+ pages. (Especially those last few scenes! My heart was literally pounding!) Plus the series has one of my favorite casts of characters ever. Absolutely loved it! :)

Well said! I agree completely :)

Finished at 4 in the morning. Yawn.4.5 stars, but I rounded down because the ending left me with mixed feelings.
I'll post a review later, but I did think the ending was a tad too happy and didn't grab me emotionally like the rest of the book did.
I still loved reading it and think Winter was a satisfying conclusion to the series.

I actually felt the same way, Daniel! I loved it but it seemed a bit underwhelming. Overall, it WAS a very satisfying ending for the series.

SPOILER - I agree with both of you about the overly happy ending - it didn't match the tone of the rest of the book
Huh, I liked the ending. :P I did think it was a little unrealistic that (view spoiler) but I don't know, I guess I wanted it to end that way. :D

There are no set chapters per day, we just read at our own paces and start each post with how far along you are, i.e., Chapter #, %, using spoilers where needed. Have fun!
