I need to delete this book cover for A GOD IN CARVER so that I can add the current one. My book is not yet released so if possible I would like this cover deleted completely.

Yes. They were digital copies, I suppose that doesn't matter though?

You would need to create an ACE then (Alternate Cover Edition), since that cover has been distributed.

I created a new edition but the old cover is still the primary image... how do I change that?
