hmm well there's kind of interesting things we could do with both.

like on the rivalry side it could revolve around Clint (depending on what Jess wants to do with their history) but if Nat and Clint were super close and then Nat starts feeling edged out by Harper that could cause something because Natasha is really closed off, emotionally, so for her to feel ignored or replaced by someone important to her would be significant, imo.

On the other hand it could be purely based on similar-ish personalities and the fact that they're both thirty-year old ex-assassins with red hair, so since other people wouldn't stop comparing them they just started trying to one-up each other all the time.

But they could also be pretty badass as friends or occasional mission partners who kind of understand each other? Idk if you're keeping Harper's backstory the same. But yeah it could also depend on how long she's been at SHIELD, and like I said, what Jess wants to do about Clint and her, and then if anyone wants to make a character that would be super close with Nat bc all of that would affect how it plays out in my opinion.
