Okie doke~And for recruits, do we include their original name in the template, or just leave them with a number?
The numbers are just for the Mentors to call them by. You can give them their code names, and/or attach their number with it.
sucre'd fiend wrote: "So would we edit their profiles after Perdition with the names they give themselves?"Yeah.
The origination that Huck and Jake where in, and what Olivia's dad was the head of XD. In short, they are trained killers, sweepers, etc who do the dirtiest of the dirty shit to keep America running as it does without anyone knowing they are doing it :). That's pretty similar to what the Steel Agents are doing, right?
Caitlin, generally face claims are just to ensure no one has the same face XD. The 'unknown' models are usually put in the face claim as well, just labeling them as 'unknown' followed by either a link to the image of the person or a spoiler with the image showing in it :). In other words, I personally think it's a 'need to do' thing, claiming. But I'm not a mod, so Resy's reply is what will give you the for sure answers XD. Just figured I'd try to help ya out! ---
@Resy, mkay :). My next question, the people in the agency aren't all combat specialized, right? There needs to be those tech experts to hack and find info and what not too, yeah? I was leaning towards making a member who is on the anotomical/science side of stuff: pathogenics, very deep knowledge of the body (what all it can take, pressure points, chemical balances and how to alter them to change a person's reaction, etc), and helps fix up the wounded agency when needed as well as perform physicals to make sure they are still in shape. Would that be alright?
What Sav said XD Thanks. All agents have basic self-defense combat training. Mostly active agents would have specialized combat. So yes, you can make someone who is science oriented. I wouldn't go so far as to give them everything you listed. Don't want to mary/gary sue it.
Welcome :D. When you say Mary Sue, do you mean making a character 'perfect'? Cause having knowledge about patho and depth into human anatomy wouldn't make a Mary Sue character in my opinion, just a science included mind XD. I figured it'd be safe to have her rather smart in a set field, like how the others are trained to a super extent in their special fields, since they are supposed to be a pretty elite group with a specialty. She'll have her limits; science always has limits :). As far as persona goes, she def want be a happy go lucky-perfect character with the shiny past lol. Sound alright still?
*edit, found a decent way to balance, I think XD*
Caitlin, how will it be tough? If you don't know the face claim's name, you just put her/him as unknown with an image :D. If you know the name, you just claim her/him :).

@Res, another quick ..."
No I know. But there are so many claims already. Plus I won't be making all my charries at once so it will be tricky to choose.
@Caitlin, trust me, I know what you're going through. When I was first introduced to groups with face claims, I was lost. The faces I knew, I couldn't use because someone else had them, and I suck with faces, so I couldn't find anyone new lol. Go to pinterest and type into the search bar face claim. It pops up a good number of faces with names :).
Questions: 1) The lockdown, does that mean that there are no missions going on? Are there people assigned to the elimination or gathering of the blackguard to neutralize the issue?
2) The blacksheep recruit, who is he/she picked, and what all do they do to him/her?
1. The lockdown is mostly for the recruits. They aren't allow out of the facility and are put through more screening. Also, agents are being screened over, to catch any moles. Some missions will stop, some won't. And their will be a specific team to hunt down the Blackguards. 2. I pick them using a random generator buts its the recruit that will be marked for slaughter. Meaning they won't last long for whatever reason faulted against them.
1) Makes sense :). What sort of things are they screening the recruits for? I guess, a better question would be, the picking process, what are some of the criteria used in picking the next bunch of wild flowers? That's a heavy question to answer, I know, since they may pick one person for one reason while another for another. But...I guess just sorta generalize some of the key things they want? 2) Whatever reason faulted them? Does the person have to come up with it? Or is it an unsaid sort of thing? This, in my own opinion, would be a better to have an 'applied' thing for, honestly, letting the people who may want their character to be slaughter labeled apply with reason(s) why he/she would be the black sheep and you picking the one most befitting :). But, tis' your group, and I'll respect whatever way you go about things :D. The group is very nice thus far, by the way :).
1. Background, intelligent, personality, unique capabilities, influence (plus), someone they can destroy the past history for, someone useful to their plans etc. Each person is picked for a different reason. 2. Various reasons. The basics, comes down to someone who is more of a risk, than a reward. Example, is someone who is emotional unstable. Agents such as this, don't last long under pressure and become a risk in the field to themselves and others. I want to pick the character rather than having someone chose to be it based on character profile and roleplay. Because its a nicer twist honestly.
1) all answered up for this one :).2) I think you picking it is the best way to go. You'd said it's picked by a random generator rather than you picking him/her based on reading over them and deciding who'd be the the black sheep. Thats what had be a bit iffy. But if youre actually picking him/her out, then awesome :).
I know this is going to sound a bit odd, but would it be okay if I created a character with CIP (Congenital Insensitivity to Pain). It means she physically can not feel pain, so I plan to make her really reckless so she needs to be reminded a lot of her mortality.
2. Yeah, I thought it over because I was considering 2 -3 black sheep but one is enough. @anidawehi: That is a no. The agency doesn't want reckless, they want obedient agents and an agent who can't feel pain or understand mortality is someone who endangers herself and the team she would be working with. They are a liability.
Do you have a list of specializations? Or should we try to come up with our own? Would you consider Forgery or 'Master Of Disguise' a specialization?
You come up with them, try keeping it to something realistic. Forgery yes. Master of disguise not so much.
Oh yeah what happens about this black sheep. If someone is picked does that mean their character either is picked to be kicked out or die or something else?
Honestly, depends on the sheep. They are labeled as a problem. Either the individual overcomes the problem or not. Not many have, so they were "disposed" of.
