What's your favorite genres? Mine are Rock, Hip Hop, Metal, and Alternative

screamo, techno, trance, metal, grunge, old rap, some Japanese underground metal. can't seem to get into hip hop, though? don't know why.

punk, j-pop, those sad ones like evanescence does ((Idk what it is called)) Rock, EXTREMELY AWESOME GUITAR, techno, pop, country, ok, anything that isn't boringly slow. especially old school hip hop.

ALTERNITIVE ROCK!!! Best music genre ever!!! I listen to a lot of others though. As long as it's not rap, or hard core country music then I'm cool with giving it a try.

Gothic Rock, Gothic Metal, Depressive Hardcore, some Black Metal, Death Metal, "cello metal," "Goth Opera" (stuff like Nightwish), some Emotive Hardcore, Gothic Pop aka Deathpop, Industrial Metal, Dark Punk, Dark Rock, Heavy Metal, some of the 80s American metal/glam acts (Metallica, Twisted Sister, Guns 'N Roses), New Wave, 1st Wave, darkwave, visual kei, Doom Metal, Funeral Metal, some Nu-metal, hard rock, grunge, post-grunge, and so on =)

Not so big on bluegrass, country, pop, rap, and hip-hop.

woah... I don't think I could ever listen to rock that's like really intense screaming and stuff, some screaming is okay, but I don't like a lot.

I started listening to it again. It was a while back since I hated Death Metal, and since then my taste has changed quite a bit. It amuses me that I'd listen to soft rock and indie rock. And now ..

Not that I have anything against soft rock or indie rock nowadays.

lol, it's okay I'm not really a true fan of a certain type of music anyway! I'm, pretty much, all over the place with the variety of music that I listen to.

Except rap, that I don't even count as music, it's just a bunch of guys rambling on about nothing (not like I could understand what they're saying anyway) with a bunch of random beats mixed together.

Yeah, I'd say that most rappers are just a bunch of disgusting pervs who only care about, money, drugs, and getting laid.... ick not the kind of lyrics I like to listen to!

not all about that stuff. Some of it has meaning in you actually listen to it properly. They have a freedom of speech. Not all rap is bad.

I think my favorites are piano rock and alternative... but I'll pretty much listen to anything except screamo

Most rappers are mixing with Rock. Take little Wayne, he made a rock album with a mix of rap.
