Dialouge in Crossed

Marie-Helene In crossed, the dialouge is very vague at times and it is sometimes hard to distinguish wether Cassia or Ky are talking. The dialouge is also not very intresting because Condie does not use great word choice. My question is even though the dialouge is vague and not very intresting, does it still help the reader?
