Jenna Farris On page 271 in "The Duff", there is a piece of dialogue that has an important meaning. Bianca says, "No, no, no. I am not in love with him, okay?" --- This displays to the reader that Bianca is lying, because the "no's" are in italics. Another reason why you can tell that Bianca is lying is because she said so much, suggesting that she is trying to cover-up for actually liking Wesley.
This is important because it shows that Bianca is lying, which may cause conflict. In addition, it showa that Bianca does have "feelings" for Wesley, even if she says that she doesn't.

Anyone else have any ideas??
