Wow, I can't believe I haven't made this :P This is for all the writers in the group, including me ((: Introduce yourselves and tell more about what you write here::

Hi, I'm Mary Kate ((:
I'm sure you know me xP
I have many nicknames, including: MK, Mary, Kate, KK, Kae, Kay, Kay-Kay, Murrey, Katie, and occasionally 'hey you!' I'm kidding xP Haha. I was named after my Grandmother Mary, and Mother Kathy, both such Godly women (:
Anyhow, I am a Christian who strives to follow the Lord Jesus in all I do :D I was saved at the age of seven, and because of Jesus I have never been alone, even in the hard times of life <<33

I have always had a love for writing!! I have always felt so free and happy, as if my words could actually mean something! When I was in third grade I had many assignments to write short stories, and I used these opportunities and loved every second of it!! My teacher was the first one to spark my care in the things I wrote. She would take my stories that I wrote, and often I would see her crying or laughing as she read them. Then she would call me up to her desk and tell me how she could seem to feel such emotion in my stories. Whatever they were. She was the first one to tell me to write better, try harder, and above all always have a meaning to your writing! Oh, and never start a sentence with 'and' xP Hahaha. She was a tough critic but one I knew really cared, and thus another reason I love to write!!

Now I love to write even more!! I feel as though I can be used by my Saviour to tell others of the greatest story on earth- His!! My reason in writing is not to get a handclap (although that's appreciated ;)) Its not to gain fame (not really fond of the spotlight) and not for sheer fun (yet I have a bunch of fun with it :)) My main reason for writing is to tell others of the love of the Creator. To tell them they are loved, beautifully made, cared for, and made to do something great!! Something for the Lord!! To give hope, inspiration and remind them of the light that is always there to help them find their way!! I pray I can always remind others of the fact I love to say, "Jesus Loves YOU!!!" :D xD

When I write my words are nothing more than ordinary, but when the Lord leads them - they can become EXTRAordinary xD

So then, stating my favorite genres to write: Christian Thriller and Theology.
I have a couple novellas I'm working on, one I hope to finish within the month called, "Unconditional...LOVE." I also have many poems and short stories ((;

I never use an outline because they tend to confuse my writing. I have a unique way of writing- I sit down, pray for the Lord's leading, and then when the Lord gives me the utterance, I write. I tend to get into a creative mindset when this happens and my eyes never leave the computer screen for quite a while. If I feel as though I'm stuck I often will grab a book and read a page to try to get where I can feel ready, or either talk to someone which often brings me to a creative state xP Haha
Fun fact: I will often eat anything while I'm writing. I like to randomly stick candy or marshmallows in my mouth while writing. Lol (;

I pray one day the Lord will lead me to publish so pray for me ((;
