Troy Grice (troyjgrice) | 41 comments Oathkeeper

"Until recent times, Calumet County had never been known as a place of killing and violence..."

A peaceful valley in the mountains of Colorado becomes a battleground pitting the federal government against a rural sheriff's department. Beleaguered Sheriff Bear Ellison finds himself outnumbered, over-matched, and increasingly isolated as he is forced to decide between risking his life protecting a local hero, or reneging on his oath and handing him over to federal prosecutors.

Jack (jackjuly) | 254 comments I'm an Oathkeeper. I hope you stayed true to what the movement is about and who we are. I would rather no one write about it because it's an org that has for the most part, flown under the radar. Our members are not always who you think they are. Congrats on the book.

Troy Grice (troyjgrice) | 41 comments Why don't you check it out and let me know what you think. It's getting great reviews.

That's a lot of reviews really quick. I'm Jealous. I guess that's what comes with a publisher. Downloaded.

Honestly, the publisher doesn't do much on the promotion frint. My reviews came by working my email list and by giving it away on kindle.

Same here, and as a member I was careful about mentioning the organization in my book.

"The Oath Keepers," is not mentioned anywhere in my novel. But you are encouraged to read it and give feedback.

I mention the Oathkeepers in False Flag. I don't depict them as all from the same cookie cutter. Most believe there's still a peaceful solution; but a few believe armed conflict is inevitable.

VMom (votermom) | 46 comments Hi Troy,

here is a link to my review on my blog
http://www.bookhorde.org/2016/01/oath...

I will copy the review to amazon & goodreads shortly.

(been slow on the reviews because of the holidays but it worked out to tie in to current events)

Thanks for the copy. You should write more thrillers - when the action gets going it is quite hard to put down.

Troy Grice (troyjgrice) | 41 comments Forgot to mention, I crosslinked bookhorde.org on my blog TroyGrice.com. We are about to do another kindle giveaway on Jan 11 so it might send a handful of visitors over to you. Thanks again. I wish I had a bigger following and could help you out more. Great blog, again.

Troy Grice (troyjgrice) | 41 comments Feedback is appreciated.

Henry Brown (machinetrooper) | 236 comments The stars aligned for you and I shoved it to the top of my TBR pile. (Well, actually the subject matter IMO is more important than any other topic in the other books, which helped the star-alignment).

Reading it, now. I think with Sniggs you captured the persona and motivations of the average cop spot-on so far.

Jack (jackjuly) | 254 comments It's next up. Start on it tonight.

Henry Brown (machinetrooper) | 236 comments Troy: do you have a banner image for Oathkeeper or some other promotional image? An image of the book cover as-is, if nothing else. I'm about to post a review on Virtual Pulp and am hoping to have a featured image of some kind.

Also, any links or such you'd like me to incorporate?
