Freedom walked to the prison gate and looked at the guard that was at the door. She was about to open her mouth, but the guard asked in a gruff voice what they were doing here. Freedom took down the little bubble around the Hunter and explained what has happened at the mall. The guard let her and Raven inside after a moment, then warned them to be careful before disappearing.
Raven padded after Freedom. "Which one do we put him in?" She asked, he had grown heavier over the trip from the mall and she was eager to get him off her back, even though she wouldn't admit it.
"I don't know... The guard just let us in but maybe another one would help us find a place to put him in?" She asked as she looked around with a small frown
Freedom looked around, then she started walking to find another guard that would help them
Freedom looked at her and frowned a little before taking the Hunter from her back and swinging it over her shoulder.
Freedom smiled at her and started walking around the place with a small chuckle, "Anyone here?" She called out.
Freedom looked around and then shook her head. "Where is everyone?"
"We keep them in another area." A voice behind them said. Freedom turned and saw a guard leaning against the wall. To her it looked like he was some sort of hybrid.
Raven turned, almost in sync with Freedom. She almost squeaked when she saw the guard, but she managed to hold it in. "Oh... well where is that area?"
"Down this way. I see you have a hunter? At least thats what he looks like. Come on."He started walking. Freedom swallowed and then followed him
Freedom glanced back at Raven as she walked nervously
Raven gathered her courage. For some unknown reason, the guard made her feel uneasy. "So, what is all of that extra room for if you keep everyone back here?" She asked the guard.
"The Haven is a rather safe place Raven, it very many people are arrested and not very many hunters are captured." He said simply. Freedom frowned a little, wondering how far in they had to go.
"You ask alot." He said with a small smirk.
He continued to walk until a faint noise came to Freedom's ears. "Not important."
Raven scowled. "Fine." She heard a faint noise and, wanting to try to annoy the guard, she asked, "What's that noise? And why is it so quiet? And why don't I hear anything other than that? It seems pretty quiet for a prison. It must be pretty empty. Why is it so big if it's so empty?"
He ignored her. Simple as that. Freedom could see the look on his face. She looked back at Raven and grinned at her before turning back around. That was funny to her! Finally they came to a brick wall with a door. He unlocked the door and led then down a hall of cells with Hunters and other creatures.
There were a few of the people behind the cells speaking and murmuring, others were just plain out shouting. Freedom nodded and handed the Hunter to Raven.
Raven slung the Hunter over her shoulder. She growled at the prisoners who were shouting, and they quieted until she had passed.
The guard led them to an empty cell in the middle and sneered, "In here Raven." He grumbled.
Raven walked in and dumped the Hunter, none to gently, on the ground. She nodded in satisfaction. "So there. One less problem for the Haven." She walked out to stand by Freedom.
The guard rolled his eyes while Freedom nodded. "Yeah. I didn't even really know that this place had a prison but this worked out just fine!"
Freedom nodded quickly, "Yeah that would be a good idea!"
Raven turned to the guard. "Since I was paying no attention of where we were going, would you mind leading us back out?" She batted her eyelashes cutely and gave him the sweetest smile she could manage.
He glared at her while Freedom snickered. "No. Find your own way out." He said lowly, and with that he disappeared. Just like that he was gone. Freedom pouted, "That was rude!" She complained
"Sure was! Luckily, I was lying and I only wanted him to guide us back so I could irritate him more." She grinned and started walking back the way they came. "Come on. Let's get out of here."
Freedom followed her, "I know you were lying." She said simply with a small smile spread across her face.
Raven tried to hold back a laugh as she remembered the look on the guard's face when she asked all those questions. She failed and cracked up.
Freedom burst out laughing as well as she walked. The poor guard. She was not ever going to be allowed in the prisom again
Raven laughed more when Freedom started laughing too. "I don't think he's ever going to let me in here again!"
"Or me!" She laughed as she shook her head. Yeah this was the last time that any guard would let her in.
