Mythical Haven discussion

Raven walked in. She bit her lip looking at the menu.

I walk into the McDonald's quietly, and quickly find Raclven. I swipe my hair back, and walk over to her. "Hey."

Raven turned and saw Heant. She smiled. "Hi!"

"So... ummm. I think I'll have a six nugget meal with a strawberry milkshake."

"Me too." Raven added.

I quickly count out the money. "Lunch is on me today."

Raven smirked. "There's no way I'm letting you pay for me." She said, pulling a wallet from her purse that she wished she hadn't brought.

"No, I insist."

Raven smiled sweetly at Heant. "I'm more stubborn than you." She stated, handing the person behind the counter enough money for her order. "I'll let you pay for your own, but that's as far as I'll go."

I snarl, but I can't stay mad at her for long. "Fine."

Raven laughed a little. "Would you like to choose our table?"

"Fine." I look around and eventually choose one in the corner. I walk over to it and sit down, carrying the paid for food. "Bon apetit."

Raven followed and sat across from him. "So, have you heard of those Hunter clans?" She asked, taking a sip of her shake.

I nearly choke on my nugget when I hear the name. "Clans? I'm going to have to work overtime to root them all out! The stupid buggers, they're in for it. The council won't stand for it!"

Raven smiled. "We can work on it together then! The little pests won't know what hit them!"

I ponder on it. "It sounds like a plan... yeah, I don't see why not. Just make sure that you know that they don't fall in love with you in the process."

Raven frowned. "Ew. I would never let that happen!" She shuddered at the thought of a Hunter loving her. "Gross."

The look on her face makes me snort with laughter. "It's still a possibility."

"Not if I bite their head off first." Raven stated matter of factly.

"Or if you just don't use your human form."

Raven considered that for a moment then smiled. "Are you saying I'm pretty?"

" Well..."

Raven laughed at the uncomfortable look on his face. "I'm teasing!"

"Good. I wouldn't actually want to answer the question." Because I think we both know the answer.

Raven cocked her head. "Really? I'm clueless!" She didn't know why she found it so fun to pester people like this.

I give her one of them looks that tell someone that I know they're lying to me. "Are you sure about that?"

Raven grinned. "Absolutely."

"Think again."

Raven rolled her eyes, still smiling. "Oh fine. You're way harder to tease than Terrian."

"And I do thank myself for that."

Raven ate one of her nuggets. "So, you said something about a council earlier. What is it?"

"The council is basically the havens governing body, and meets once a month, I think it was."

"Are you on it?"

I laugh. "Me, in a position where I have power? You have to be kidding me!"

Raven raised an eyebrow. "I'm guessing that means no..."

"Indeed..." I smell a strange scent in the air. "You wouldn't be wearing perfume, would you?"

Raven blushed. "Possibly..." She knew she shouldn't have put it on! She about died of embarrassment then and there.

I grin. "Just like the fact that I might possibly like you?"

"Sure. Like that."

She obviously doesn't get that I really couldn't be bothered less that she was wearing perfume. "You do realize that you just got my hopes up, don't you?"

"How did I possibly do that?" She asked cutely.

"I don't know, it's not like it's the first time I've talked to a girl I like-" I realize my mistake too soon.

Raven smiled brightly. "Did I just hear you say you like me?"

I quickly drain my milkshake, and eat my chips, all whilst shaking my head.

"I think I did! I think heard you just say that you like me!" Raven smiled a big smile.

I try to find something to hide behind, but give up. "Fine. I admit that i find you attractive."

Raven tilted her head. "Aaaawwww!!!! I like you too."

"Really?" My ears prick up, and I start feeling good about myself. Or maybe it's just the milkshake. It has been known to happen before...

"Of course. You're pretty hard to not like."
