What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Okay guys, got a serious challenge for you!
Back in July (2015) a suggestion popped up on my Amazon account for a military romance novel. I'm going to paraphrase the summary that was listed as I only glimpsed at it.

Female reporter goes to the Middle East to do a story. She is assigned a hotshot solider (can't remember his rank or branch) as protection. Within the first few minutes they are shot at and one of his men is hit and she is grazed by a bullet before he saves her. They have a brief passionate affair and have a falling out. Years (or months?) later he owns a security firm and she is a award winning reporter but is captured by terrorists but rescued. She is currently stuck overseas and traumatized with people still after her. He is hired by her family (I think) to go get her and bring her home.

I remember one of the lines being "permission to pass out?" Unfortunately I only ever read the sample Amazon gives you. This book has been driving me crazy, but I can't seem to find my way back to it. If you guys could help me...well I'd just happy to finally know the title. I've looked everywhere!

I'm not sure she was held captive by some terror group in afgainistan (?) but she find her way out or someone gets her out and now she's stuck in said country, in a hospital. The Hero job was to get her out before the media gets to her, I think...the book you mentioned, while not the one, sounds really interesting.

Does the whole story takes place in one location/country - which may or may not be Afghanistan?

I'm not entirely sure. I never got a chance to read the entire book. It starts in the past in the Middle East and when it time jumps he is back in the U.S. I know, it's not much help.

I've read it, but it's not the one. If anything maybe it falls into another genre? Suspense romance? Contemp. Romance?
